Pretty!!!

The temple building can't help but remind me of Jaguar! at KBF.

But thats just me.

They also took down the rainbow. But the area looks MUCH better. When I was there last summer, the area was very plain and dirty. This looks much more themed and a step in the right direction for Heide Park.

And the Condor Ride wasn't that great. It gave no good view of the park, and seemed like it was falling apart. Same with the rainbow.

Yay, they have finally ditched the Green and White. It looks a lot better, even if the rides are the same.

Where is the Condor ride ? Another one of these classic rides gone.

Sold to the "Skyline Park" in Germany so its not really gone.

Whoa, im a major flat ride fan, so this makes me pretty jealous.

Good stuff, especially the Enterprise! I want to go to Heide so bad. Maybe one day with TPR.

As sad as it is to see the rides no longer themed to Divv, they do look much better.

Wonder if they will do a makeover of Big-Loop and Limit while they are at it?

Either way, they do have some very good theming standards, even if Saw is a let-down of late-Tussauds proportions...

Heide Park has sent us a press release (in German) about their latest charity benefit allowing guests to ride the new Big Loop train. I will attach the original press release as well as the translation so that those that can read German can try translating better than I could.

Freizeitparkfans werden begeistert sein, denn eine solche Chance bekommt man nicht oft geboten: Norddeutschlands größter Freizeit- und Familienpark versteigert einen Teil der beliebten ‚BIG LOOP’-Achterbahn und damit ein Stück Heide-Park Geschichte beim weltweit größten Online-Auktionshaus. Im Rahmen von eBay ‚Stars & Charity’ wird der Loopingbahnzug sowie deren erster Wagon, jeweils komplett mit vier Sitzen und Bügeln, ab dem 18. März auf eBay zu ersteigern sein.

NEW 2010: The Heide-Park Resort gets a Pirate Bay

It seems that it isn't what we originally expected (at least with this translation) in that this isn't an auction for the first ride on Big Loop, but an auction for Big Loop's train before the ride's retirement.
