That was *really* awesome that you guys got to do that before you leave! Thanks for posting it - it was great to see the ariel views of Dollywood. I've done a helicopter ride before but it was over flat Florida - did the wind whip you around a lot with all the hills and mountains?

I'm more a lurker here than full time active poster, but this has easily been my favorite thread on TPR. Great job covering all the mountains, attractions, and grits.

Really cool shots from the air! Great stuff! Be safe getting down here to Orlando!
Beer... It helps coasters go higher and faster!

No, it was pretty calm. At one point, the pilot asked if he had scared anyone yet. To which we replied, "No. Try to scare us!"

That is the best photo of Wal-mart I have ever seen. I've loved being a part of this thread. And this last update is by far, hands down my favorite update.

Now...on to our next adventure.... :b :lmao: :b

Awww this made me sad. Thanks for posting these trip reports, I've really enjoyed them. I've also been drinking tonight but still - overall - a very fun ride. See you on the Orlando side soon, I hope.

Erik & Misty - you guys did a great job until Erik did his Rocky Top rendition.

Lucky for me he waited til the end of this utterly enjoyable thread, because this thread is now DEAD TO ME! :lolr:

Good luck in Florida!
