^Haha I noticed that too! To be fair, Goldrusher at night is a pretty damn awesome experience. ...BUT IT'S STILL LIKE 30 YEARS OLDER :P

Gold Rusher is much better than Pony Express. Pony Express is my least favorite out of the 60 coasters I have rode. It is the only coaster I have been on that, when it was over, my first thought was that I didn't enjoy it.

I just thought this was funny because no one ever says anything about Gold Rusher. But I've always liked it. And, BTW, it'll be 40 years old in just over a year.

^Ah, I thought it was late 70's, oh well, it still really holds its age nicely sometimes. But yeah, Pony Express hurt to much, but I also don't enjoy Ghostrider...well it's impossible to feel any emotion after it because it renders you temporarily paralyzed from all the spine crushing it deals.

^ GhostRider's situation is sad because it was so much fun when it opened. It just went to crap. For me, Pony Express isn't rough or uncomfortable, it's just too short. Great concept and decent theming, but poor execution.

I don't find Pony Express uncomfortable. Just short and boring. There are kiddie coasters I have had more fun on. The Canyon Blaster at SFMM is a better ride. If Pony Express got removed tomorrow, I wouldn't care at all. I still enjoy GhostRider, although it is very rough.

^ yes, pony express is extremely short...especially after the spinal torture. The launch is quite fun, however.

Regarding ghostrider...oh boy - rough!!!! The front is smooth, but in the back, it literally rearranges your organs. Aside from its roughness, the track layout, speed, and excitement are all amazing.. since I am young and can handle it, I love it.

I usually just opt for about five rides on silver bullet at knotts.

Sorry for any spelling mistakes.. I'm on my droid.

Ghostrider is "tolerable" for a short time if you ride it right after it's rehab. This is true for me if in the front car only.

Any news on the opening of Xcelerator? The Knotts website still states 1/19/10. I really hope it's open for WCB when I'm on the westcoast. Not much to ride without it. Only so many reps on Silver Bullet and few few on Ghostrider as per my previous post.
