I'm curious to see if this splash down will make a big wave like Griffon. The layout, sure it is short, but I think it will back a huge punch with three inversions in a row.

Here's a short little update for today (12/4)

This ride is called Manta Roller Coaster.

This is the end of the flat spin and the start of the last turn.

They were still building the support for the track piece they put on. Now, I'm no engineer, but that doesn't seem smart to me.

As you can see without me telling you, it's super low to the ground.

You may not be able to see, but there's 2 sets of brakes on the mcbr, and it's clearly longer than a train judging by the size of the maintenance shed at the bottom. Anyone know why?

They're doing lots of work on the station.

These supports make no sense to me. That tall one in the foreground is right before that really short one on the right that you can barely see. That's for the wing dip.

Here's a closer look at the wing dip support. Thanks for reading, everybody.

Well the train enter the MCBR with some speed so the MCBR must be longer then the train to be able to safely stop the train without any chance of overshooting the MCBR, especially since a flyer have more "complex" seating so you have space to fold down the seats and safely evacuate the train.

Thanks for the image update! They sure are getting Manta done fast, of course excluding foliage, buildings, groundwork, and themeing, the trackwork should be done pretty soon. It's kind of weird to think that Manta's trackwork may be completed before Rip Ride Rockit's track has even gone vertical. Taiko OMG

In the pic with the guys working on the support, they were actually torque-testing the bolts to make sure they're on nice an tight. I think it's supposed to be about 600lbs of force applied when installing the bolts.

^It looks to me that they have to put in the wrap-around wing-dip and the first half of the flat spin.

I agree. It is the worst watching the coaster sit stagnent for so long after the trackwork is completed.
