WOW - Crystal Wings looks absolutely amazing -Hopefully Cedar Fair can take note and do something like this somewhere - Do you think a trashcan mountain theme could be worked out? Taiko Happy

Glad you are having a blast - keep the photos coming please!

Great photos!

My parents and grandmother ate those exact chicken feet on a regular basis. Imagine a dinner table with a big steaming plate of chicken feet with toes and all! That's what you get for growing up in a Chinese household. Taiko Happy

Thanks for the great photos Robb. Happy Valley is truly incredible...it seems like actual ride construction is almost secondary to the theming! It also looks like Kristen is becoming a celebrity in her own right over there. Taiko Laughing

OMG KidTums is seriously adorable beyond belief. Are you just going up to random Chinese girls and saying like "Hey, take a picture with my daughter and I'll guarantee you a date with this man *pulls out picture of Jahan*"

I was over there in 2003 for 2 weeks and I had my picture taken by locals about 50 times. When not having a picture taken you just get stared at. Felt like I was famous for 2 weeks lol. I guess since the Olympics and all the tourists it's calmed down a bit as it's getting more normal to see westerners now.

Today was our transfer day from Beijing to Guangzhou. We boarded an early morning flight on one of those 747 "Combi" planes which is 1/2 passenger, 1/2 cargo. It's weird in a way, but also kind of cool.

We hit up one small park called "Nanhu Amusement Park" which looked like the kind of place that closed a little over a decade ago, but they forgot to tell the employees who dilligently keep it open. It was "weird."

Then we headed to a bonus park, Jing Ying Amusement Park, for a bonus credit! Yay!

I'm not sure I'd enter something labelled Amusent Park. But it worked out OK for you guys. Can't wait for Chimelong Paradise / 10 Inversion Coaster / "generic name"-Dive Machine.
