Awesome pics, Hanno. I love all the different facial expressions you're able to get.

Hi there Hanno !

I really had fun joining the group with Nicolas for Parc Astérix and Disney.
It was awesome to meet and talk with all the TPR members. We really appreciate helping the group for the Parc Astérix's ERTs and showing some hidden mickeys or Disneyland's small details.

Thanks for posting a selection of the thousands of pictures you've taken during the trip ! They're just great !

I just wanted to say that once again I am humbled by your photography abilities. I personally took over 7500 pictures myself, but they pale in comparison to what you've posted.

Why do I still have a donkey title???

Thanks again for all the nice comments. These are the small things that make it worth (for me) to do these updates...

I like the pictures i take myself (although i always see points of possible improvement) but it's nice to hear that others enjoy them as well.

Sounds a bit silly maybe.. but it makes it easier to spent the time taking these and putting them online.

Anyway.. the second half of day 4 is now up.. aka

Day 4 Drievliet.

This was a new park for me... and i guess the place i made the biggest "mistake" of this trip so far...

I only did one run on FormuleX.. i loved it.. but choose to take pictures of everybody else enjoying this ride.. instead of enjoying it some more.. :(

But no worries.. the park is just an hour from my home.. so i will go back there (someday)

enough said.. you know what's coming next ;-)

I'm going on record to say I DON'T LIKE SPINNING RIDES! I was told it wasn't bad at all and I was lied to!

So if you aren't religious you probably don't wanna see the video, 'cause I'm praying to Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Zeus and the Devil.... anyone that can come and switch that darned ride off!

I was evil when I got off that thing... so I went to get a drink.

Some people just could not get enough of this one...

Formulae X was amazing. Perhaps the most surprisingly good ride of the whole trip. Quite brief, but the launch was amazing and the airtime was phenomenal.

I'm really happy so many in the tour enjoyed Formule X at Drievliet. I got to ride it a couple of months after it opened over a year ago, and immediately knew it was a nifty little coaster. But the crowds were big that day, so I only got a second ride in, before leaving the park.

But it was way better than G-Force at Drayton Manor, even with X having a shorter ride cycle. Didn't bother me none.

The launch was swift and sweet, that mid-ride hang time was OMG great, and it just wanted to be ridden and ridden again.

And - I did, LOL! We all did. :airtime:

It was definitely one of the pleasant surprises, probably less so for me, as I hadn't been any X-cars; but I got the feeling people who'd had bad experiences on similar coasters were almost in shock.

Yeah, I really think this ride was the true 'surprise' of the trip. It was smooth, fun, exciting...just a PERFECT ride for a park of that size.

More small - midsize parks should look into one of these. In fact, I know we talked to a couple of parks already that have shown an interest!

Can you see the donkey in my toast?
