I have no sympathy for this kid. His family, yes, but not this dumbass. He was going to climb over two 6 foot tall fences, and try to grab someone's legs which are dangling from a multi ton train going around 35mph? Sorry, he's out of the gene pool, and no one has to deal with his offspring. I know I sound like a royal d!ck here, but that was just stupid.

Imagine what the park is also going through because of the kids' stupidity.

I feel bad for the people that had to see a kid get decapitated! And his family of course.

People can be so thick sometimes!

Ya know, it's at these times that I really hate the news media. Most people only read headlines. The headlines all read something along the lines of "Teen boy decapitated by Georgia Coaster". What will most people think? "Oh my god! That ride should be closed if it kills people." Why? Just like the teenager, most people are too stupid to actually read a whole story. My opinion of course, but I don't have much faith in humanity.

Most people think they are all death machines or something anyway, I remember these one people wouldnt go on Dominator when it was a Geauga lake because they heard once the power went off in the loop and everyone fell to their deaths. Interesting how the power going off stopped physics.

I wish they would make Street Fighter Donkey.

That's no reason to hate the media. That's what happened. What should the headlines say? "Boy killed someplace, but it wasn't that place's fault." Get real.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has updated the story with a lot more details. It says the boy was with a friend, and they left the park to get lunch. When they came back, they didn't come back in the entrance when they got back. They hopped a fence surrounding the park, then hopped the fence surrounding Batman. Two bad moves.
I am out of ideas for what to write in this signature box.

This is quite sad, especially for the kid's family and friends. It's even sadder because it was due to the stupidy and ignorance of the group of kids and therefore was preventable.

I guess we'll just have to wait for the lawsuit now from the boy's family.

It's sad to see. But it was his fault. he basically brought it upon himself.
