Djurs Sommerland Opens Piraten 05/03/08

Postby Big Olli » Sun May 04, 2008 9:57 am

Yesterday we´ve tested the new Intamin Coaster Piraten at Djurs Sommerland, Denmark.

It´s a great coaster with a lot of airtime.

Some picturs are made in the inside area, which is not open for the public. But the park chief have seen us and have noted, that we´re great coasterfans. Then he made us the offer to go with us in these area.

I hope my translation ist good enough to understand me :)

Greetings from Germany

Olli

That looks awesome! Great pictures also.
Seems like a more 'real' coaster layout. Lots of twists, turns, and hills.

Seeing those trains so short and with lap-bars in comparison to what I'm used to make it look weird...

However, this looks at great ride...

Donkeys give me orgiastic scream!

Olli! Thank you for posting! We have to wait until 2009 to ride this, but I'm now looking forward to it even more.

looks tiny but fun at the same time, also looks like a ride I would make on Nolimits.

Have I mentioned how awesome donkeys are?

Very interesting looking coaster. Seems like Millenium Force meets Maverick, or something.

the ghost seems to think there is a "Donkey Fairy"

Unique layout, but still looks like a blast.
