Hersheypark Announces Fahrenheit!

The Norwegian Loop is just insane. I can't believe how big it looks.

Wow! This is actually slightly exciting, it looks so cool after following the progress for so long.

Hersheypark is just awesome in general. I have never had a bad experience there. I can't wait to ride this thing in July.

I'm hoping this is not the last year of the Rapids ride! That thing always has the longest line it seems.

If you look at the webcam now, you can see that the loop is over 75% done! It looks very....round. Can't wait to ride it!

I agree, getting rid of the rapids ride would be a big mistake. In general, those kind of rides are probably the best at keeping the coaster lines down in the summer.

The loop looks awesome! Also, the first corkscrew is pretty much complete. This means only the cobra roll and the rest of the norwegian loop need to be completed. Almost there!

The Norwegian Loops looks a lot bigger that I thought it would be. Also the new picture on the site shows that the loops is about done.

im gonna have to find some way to get to PA for really cheap from California...guess i better start walking now if i wanna get there before the summer season ends

Judging by the webcam images, it looks like they're beginning to work on the cobra roll. Hopefully I can make it out to Hershey Park this summer to ride this awesome coaster.

Today we found ourselves driving by Hershey, so we figured we'd stop off and see how Fahrenheit is coming along.

Wow! Thanks for the pictures Derek! I should be there on Sunday for Springtime in the Park. I can't wait to see the ride in person. My guess is that it will be complete by then.

It still seems weird to me that the coaster is facing the opposite way then I thought it would be going! I didnt think the Cobra Roll was going to be next to a parking lot!

Did we ever decide if the trains will be the same design as Storm Runner? Just another similarity!

I can see them finishing the track by either tomorrow or Wednesday, but definitely this week.

Pioneer Frontier has just scored it's 4th coaster. Now this doesn't really fit the theme for the area, it fits better in the Boardwalk, but I kinda think if they renovate CRR (or remove it) in a season or two, they can move the Boardwalk area down to FH's entrance.

I plan on heading out there again this year for their Halloween event in October. I had a lot of fun there last year.

I checked the webcam earlier today and the cobra was present in the pic. somehow it's moved back to the original position. Sorry about that
