We're staying in Simi Valley the night before WCB. Yahoo maps lists the travel time to Magic Mountain at just over 1/2 an hour. Is that realistic for driving early on a Sunday morning? I was pretty much figuring on leaving about an extra 15 minutes early just in case, but I'd hate to find out when it's too late that it actually takes longer than I'm anticipating. I've found that driving time estimates for southern California are NOT EVEN CLOSE to being accurate a majority of the time. Any insight from the locals on what to expect in the way of traffic coming that way would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

From Simi Valley to Valencia I would give it 35 minutes. There should not be any signifigant traffic on the 118 or 5 that morning.

That is a Sunday. And a Sunday that just happens to be daylight savings time. All the families will be rushing out of the house thinking their late for church only to arrive an hour early. Best to err on the way of caution. I'd leave at least 2 hours early just in case. I'm driving from Burbank. So I'll probably leave at 5am PSTDST as well.

Also, I would recommend reading our "Posting Rules" before you post again. ;)
