Disneyland in 1979

Since I don't get out to theme parks very often I don't get to contribute as much as I would like. However, I thought that
you might enjoy some pictures my mother took on my first trip to Disneyland in 1979.

Edit: I added a few more pics on page 4.

You know, now that I think about it, we were probably going from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland. Heck I am not even sure if the
pictures were taken on the same day. I was only 3 years old at the time.

One thing my mom has always done is take pictures of hotels. So I proudly present the Disneyland Hotel in 1979. They messed up our reservation, so they bumped us up to a suite. I still remember the room. It was so cool. In case you are wondering, we were in Bonita Tower.

Those are some great pictures. That is just how I remember Disneyland as a kid. I really miss the Skull Rock and also the Fantasy Fountains from the Hotel. We used to always go over to the Hotel after a full day at Disneyland and watch the Fountain show before we loaded up the station wagon and headed back home to San Diego.

Those pictures are great quality!!! Thanks for sharing

Those are some great pics. I liked how you showed mostly stuff that is gone. No more boats or buckets. I loved the pirate ship and skull rock because we always used to have lunch there. They had a hot tuna sandwich. Awesome memories.
