Photo TR: Christmas in Orlando

Postby nay » Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:25 pm

I just got back from a few days in Orlando and thought I would share some of my photos. I absolutely love any and all holiday decorations, and between Disney and Universal, I got to see a ton of them.

Day 1
Pop Century, Downtown Disney, Wilderness Lodge, MGM, Epcot

First stop was checking in at Pop Century. Then a quick trip to Downtown Disney, which was really crowded but ended up being worthwhile because I got one of the Year of a Million Dreams prizes there. Stopped over at the Wilderness Lodge to see their decorations. Then MGM for some rides, a parade, the Harlem Gospel Choir, and, of course, the Osborne Family Lights. And finished off the evening with Illuminations at Epcot.

Ok, now some pictures!

Well done and some beautiful pictures. And yes, some of us do appreciate a pretty lady (of which there are several) on this board.

What is this, your second trip in less than two months, Nay?

I'm very jealous. ;)

Thanks, in particular, for the video of the light show--very cool stuff. I'll have to check out a WDW Christmas someday.

Day 2, part 1
Animal Kingdom, Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian

Thanks for the comments so far.

The next day I spent the morning at the Animal Kingdom. Just did a few rides and saw Finding Nemo. I went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that night, but I'll add that later. Before that, I checked out the holiday decorations at the monorail resorts.

A home Dole Whip machine would rule. Heck, I probably want one in my car, too.
