The second part of day 3 of this trip we visited Beech Bend.

Hanno, I think what I like best about your photos is that there aren't many of "hey people, I'm taking your picture, act stupid/crazy now"
posed photos in them. You mostly are just capturing the real moments. Way too many peopl that do TRs think a good TR is capturing people with stupid forced-spontenaity poses, or posting hundreds of garbage can photos. With many people actually replying how they are thodr are the most awesome TR ever posted! You'd think according to many TR's we do nothing but run around making faces, yelling, screaming, and acting like idiots.

Looking forward to seeing more pics! Keep up the Great work!

Thanks for this reply. It was (and still is) my idea to take pictures at parks to show people's natural (instinctive) reactions to the rides and the park itself.

Sometimes this doesn't work since a park is too big or everybody is somewhere else... but the whole idea is to get natural reactions.

And off course first do some credits while being there and after that take the pictures... you gotta make priorities

What Hanno does well (in addition to taking great photos) is he chooses GOOD candid shots to post.

I personally *HATE* most candid shots of me because I think I look terrible in them, which is why I *prefer* people to take posed shots of me (just my personal preference) because most people do NOT know how to 'pick and choose' and weed through bad photos.

It's a process I go through all the time when I post a Photo TR. I try never to post a photo that would make someone look "bad." (Unless of course it's a picture of Wes) The selection process of what photos to post is almost as difficult as taking the photos themselves.

And that's the difference with Hanno's TR's versus other people who also take candid photos - Hanno is a VERY good judge of selecting pictures.

So while I normally prefer people to take posed pictures of me, in Hanno's case I'm 100% cool with it because I know he's not going to post a picture of me looking my "worst" (unless of course it's really REALLY funny!)

As crazy as it might sound, I actually don't really like my picture being taken (hence the reason I'm usually behind the camera on not in front of it.) And if someone does want to take a picture of me (which I'll never refuse), I prefer to pose for it.

Thanks for those nice words robb, now i have to be even more carefull "not to walk besides my shoes" (translation of a dutch saying, not sure if everyone else is familiar with it)

anyway...

Day 4 Indiana Beach
In my opinion a nice little park which reminded me a little of Blackpool. I did however spent a lot of time watching the water stunt team and took a lot of pics of their stunt show, their practice and some of the pirate show (with worse light conditions)

therefore i'll do a 2 post update, first post will be park pictures (as seen before) the second one will be only about the water show people
