Great Trip Report

Postby DaveH80 » Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:01 am

Wow, looks like you are all having a blast. Superman to me looks like an amazing B&M floorless. It has a drop simular to a B&M hyper/air hill and in my opinion some of the best inversion elements. How would you compare it to Dragon Khan or even Kraken.

I prefer to mate with donkeys over humans!

I never thought Lou sounded so... british.

70+ pages, and still my favorite quote thus far.

Why do I still have a donkey title???

Great tr so far, and Parque Warner looks like a really nice park. The coasters look amazing(well Coaster Express looks nice architecturally), and if all SF parks looked like this park, then SF be one amazing park company

Jolly jolly jolly jolly jolly

Hey, it might be funny to you, but for me, that kind of revelation is rather traumatic!! I had no idea I sounded British, and finding out from a stranger on an internet forum... that's just cruel. :(

Lou, that video clip of ER II storming into a photo shoot saying "I've had enough of dressing up like this".......well I rest my case-

Lou - Queen of the UK Brits TPR style (with just a hint of the black sheep Princess Margaret thrown in for good measure.."I say you over there...where are my bloody fags?")

Awww, Lou, don't worry. I actually like the accent. It's got a classy sophisticated sound to it. And the good thing about having it is that you'll never be mistaken for a dumb, arrogant American. ;)

Today started our "Mini-Europe" part of the trip! A short, 4-day whirlwind tour of Klotten, Tripsdrill, Holiday Park, Toverland, and Phantasialand.

We got in everything, though!

The saddest part was having to leave about 1/2 of the group behind in Spain, but we picked up about 20 people! Yay!!!

Onto some photos.....
robb_klotten06.jpg
Here we are at Madrid airport at 6am. Hey! At least it's not as bad as the 4am morning from last year's add-on!
robb_klotten08.jpg
In Spain, even McDonalds has Gazpacho.
robb_klotten09.jpg
Hey Rich! Nice legs!
robb_klotten14.jpg
KidTums totally crashed out on the plane with her bunny and a blanket.
robb_klotten15.jpg
The rest of TPR also crashed out! (Don't you all wish you had a bunny and a blanket....except for James....he wants Hippo and a blanket)
robb_klotten17.jpg
Yay! Our welcoming committee!!!
robb_klotten20.jpg
Our first stop! Sea Pigs!!!
robb_klotten38.jpg
If you remember our last update from Klotten then you know it's time for BOAT JUMPING!!!
robb_klotten76.jpg
"For Boat Jumping activity...Chris will be our ride op!"
robb_klotten25.jpg
James, get in and pull the cord.

robb_klotten98.jpg
Miles close to impact!
robb_klotten202_hanno.jpg
Is it Dan's goofy smile or the cone shaped head that makes this photo so damn funny? =)

robb_klotten194.jpg
With the crazy helix....

TP Dave sounds freaking British! The "Northerner" in Loo is much easier to understand. I guess the superior linguistic skills are more defined up there.

Does Jeff Johnson count this donkey as a credit?
