Calaway Park Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Lyrics that were previously posted here were written in a moment of temporary whine-sanity. Please disregard any emo lyrics you have read in this space. Tanx!
waterviper Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Thats pretty deep! Now get it to music and then you will be set!
Wes Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Falling. The echo of the words you say Dripping in my brain... For on that day I was slipping away. Dwelling on the icy surface The malice lurking in your thoughts... The words you mentioned The things you said... Freezing in words. Melting in dread How can I be sure That I'm not dead. [Chorus]x2 I loosen my grip To fall into thought Gasping for air I drown in dispair The pain that I feel Preparing to rein And It's all too real. Your words were morbid And washed away The happy things That brighten my day The things that make All dismay Fade away. Reaching out into the sky For I can see It's all a lie. I'm feeling numb. [Chorus]x2 I loosen my grip To fall into thought Gasping for air I drown in dispair The pain that I feel Preparing to rein And It's all too real. Falling, falling Into cold Freezing thoughts For I'm the mold Made for slaughter Made for care but Au Contrare The tables turned And I was burned Stereotyped I tried to pick A valid fight But as it seems My heart still bleeds. [Chorus]x2 I loosen my grip To fall into thought Gasping for air I drown in dispair The pain that I feel Preparing to rein And It's all too real. The deadening tone Of the voices in my head The screaming and shouting The horror and dread These words are they true? I hang my head low In a deep crimson hue for the power of speech The abuse of it too Had wrecked me inside It could happen to you. [Chorus]x4 I loosen my grip To fall into thought Gasping for air I drown in dispair The pain that I feel Preparing to rein And It's all too real. It's all too real. It's all too real. This wins for most cliché's in a single song.
kk_slider11290 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Linkin park called, they want their lyrics back.
waterviper Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 You know lyrics can practically be anything!! As long as its set to a good tune then I think that is what matters. They can be the best damn lyrics in the world but if the song sucks then your're lost! Look at Come Together by The Beatles. Its all nonsense lyrics but the music is fantastic!! But as far as your lyrics or words go I like them and think they can be used to fit into a great song!
165loops Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 This wins for most cliché's in a single song. First of Calaway I think you did a good job, keep it up and Wes lets turn this into a singing contest your turn, i'll admit i'm rubbish so your turn
kennywood!007 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Meh, get the song together then we'll talk!
Wes Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Okay 165 Loops! Here is my rendition of "Falling" by Calaway Park! I tried to do my best shitty whiney emo voice. Count how many times I try not to laugh while doing this! Falling.mp3 Emoooooooo
kennywood!007 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 LMAO!!! I just cried and pissed my pants at the same time!!
waterviper Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Wow I actually kinda liked it!!! The melody was great!! Sounds like a cross between Smashing Pumpkins and Beatles!! Wes all you need to do is start you own band now!!
Wes Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 ^ I'm actually in a couple bands, but they're just for fun, nothing serious. Goofy lyrics and stuff.
waterviper Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Thats cool! Got any recordings? Im curious as to what your band(s) sound like!
sfmmFREAK Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 This wins for most cliché's in a single song. Linkin park called, they want their lyrics back. jeez, harsh mutch?
waterviper Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Ok I just heard some of Wes's band music and I am like inspired to want to make my own band now!! For a band that just to goof around you guys are pretty damn good!
Blazen_AZN Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Hey, calaway is lying to all of you, he didn't write that entire song.... one of those lines was all me, baby! or, sort of atleast.
kk_slider11290 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Hah, that song reminds me of the unicorns a lot.
weeow Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 That's pretty awesome Wes. It's going on my MP3 player. "Ooooooh, it's all to real! Oooohhhhhh!"
Wes Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Die. I love you too, hunny. PS: If you post something like this (lyrics, poetry, writing, music, whatever), and don't expect some sort of criticism or mockery, that's pretty delusional. Not everyone is going to love what you did. You DID get some positive feedback. But not everyone is going to fawn over your work. And to quote the bottom of the main page of TPR: Disclaimer! BelizeIt Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Wes is now ready to take over the lead role in the sequel to Adam Sandlers hit movie "The Wedding Singer". His rendition of Falling reminded me of Adam Sandlers song "Somebody Kill Me" (Wedding Singer soundtrack Vol 1)
Ryan King Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 *Grabs Razorblade* So...Freakin....Good -Ryan P.S. Wes, Good Work

Anyways, I'm in a lighter mood this morning I realised how awful that rendition of my song was, and it made it funny Especially because: A: The song's not accoustic. More Billy Talent than Dashboard Confessional. B: Not sang in "awful whiney emo voice." That drives me as insane as I'm sure it does to everyone else. C: The song's not emo... I don't talk about cutting myself or wanting to die, it's just me in a pissed off mood D: You changed the chorus tune every time you sang(?) it Read the description... "Ignore the sappiness, I was in a bad mood." and some random smiley that I forgot. See, happy mood, happy song, angry mood, angry song and etc. PS: "The echo of my words you say?" You got a lot of lyrics wrong "desp*AIR*"
