Saturday, and we did do After Hours. I really liked the ending, the whole going to jail set up was neat. Not sure if I agree with the actors try harder at HHN comments (once again, I may be a bit biased), as I have walked through several HHN houses (Run (especially), DoT, and screamhouse mainly) where the actors look very bored and don't really go for the scare.
Well, I would have to say they definately work better in teams to produce the scare. HHN seemed more theatrical, and more planned. I also liked the use of water - A LOT - did HOS use any spray effects like that... anywhere??
Yeah, I picked up that you hit After Hours, I just don't think you guys went through while I was on set (I would have recognized TPR shirts and stuff (looks like some of you were wearing them) and would have said something (TPR get on the truck, or something non-witty like that, I wish I was witty)).
As Derek said, their is a spray effect at the bar in After Hours. Also in After Hours, there is an artist on a platform that sprinkles blood (water of coruse) in guests face. And finally in Freaked, there is also a spray effect (I believe the first carny at the left fork (first time it branches) has a sprayer). I actually think HHN overused water a bit this year (the inclusion of water effects is in almost every house)
The ways the houses are laid out, and actors placed make it a bit tougher for us at HOS to team up. But there are instances where this happens (Freaked does a good job at this, and I'm able to team up with the Sliders sometimes for scares, but last year I was in all by my lonesome in a little corner in deathly departed, making it impossible to team) PsychoPath over at HHN was one of my favorites this year just because the actors did a great job at teaming up for scares, I was like a friggin' ping pong in that house.
And once again I defy basic grammar and probably misused parentheses way too much.
