Thanks for the TR. I applaud you for driving from Michigan to Texas as I don't think I could handle a long drive like that. At least you got some new credits along the way. X Coaster looks quite intriguing but not really worth going out of the way for.

The Texas parks have been on my radar for quite some time and Fiesta Texas, just by your photos, seems to have a different vibe compared to the other parks in the chain.

Glad you had a safe trip and look forward to the rest of your report.

I prefer to mate with donkeys over humans!

Excellent trip report! I've always thought Fiesta Texas was the "Knott's Berry Farm" of Six Flags. It has that little extra charm and originality that the others don't quite have. I look forward to more!

^Agreed. I've yet to do a big Texas park trip, but I've always liked this park's setting--unique among the Six Flags parks.

Krypton Coaster looks like a fun ride with it's interaction with the walls. How would you rate Superman? Does it ride as good as it looks?

Why do I still have a donkey title???

It was a fun coaster. My favorite part is when you drop off the lift over the top of the quarry(Next to a shopping mall).

This update takes place from our next park Seaworld San antonio. While I really did enjoy this park, it seemed like it was lacking a handful of attractions. Maybe it's because I am used to the Orlando park, but none the less we had a great time.

The one thing about this park is that there is a bit of a walk between attractions. But that walk is full of nice landscaping. The new sea rescue coaster was not a big thrill coaster, but it is perfect fun for family's. We were a bit perplexed st the layout of this park, as a section of it is located outside of the gates. If you wanted to, you could enter the park and go see the dolphins and sharks without paying to enter the park. We actually had to exit the park to see these attractions.

We visited the day after the 4th of July, and the crowds were very light. A few of the workers were saying that they were slammed the day before.

Onto some pictures....

The line and area around the ride are landscaped nicely

I imagine that people would be greatful that most the line is covered on those hot Texas days.

Time to see the star of the park. I loved and appreciated the cover over the stadium

We had great seats in the splash zone

This park has a great kids area full of water features.

They also had the ss characters on hand
20170705_162236.jpg
The pet show is basically the same as the Florida version...and that's a good thing.
20170705_165929.jpg
The kids loved how they let you interact with the animals after the show

The sea lion show was one of our favorite shows

20170705_185218.jpg
I got a chuckle out of this one
20170705_192140.jpg
The next show was the beluga whale show. This was another great looking stadium.
20170705_194049.jpg
20170705_202018.jpg
The evening shamu show was great!
20170705_210117.jpg
The final show of the night was at the ski stadium. It was a combination of awsome rock music and water ski, and jet ski.
20170705_211339.jpg
It was really hard to get a picture of the ski portions of the show.
20170705_214428.jpg
That's it from seaworld...next stop is the original six flags park. Six flags over Texas.

As others have said, I need to get to all of the parks in Texas.

Did you guys do Schlitterbahn? It always looked like a cool water park (the main one), but I have heard that it's all spring water and it's like ice water - even on those hot Texas days.

No, we didn't. We are not huge water park people, but would still love to check it out on our next trip to Texas in the future.

Understandable.

I'm not what I would call a huge fan, but I do like the water coasters, lazy rivers (the ones that are not lazy), Proslides and swim-up bars (if they have them).

Great report from Sea World! I really need to get to this place. Looks like a good mix of rides and shows with something for everyone.
