did Six Flags save money by not using apostrophes???

No unfortunately, the park was not able to get the licensing for either to be possessive.

I find that strange as SFMM has Riddler's Revenge and SFNE has Catwoman's Whip

In honor of these new rides, here's some Bat Facts. On the 60's Batman show, Catwoman was played by Julie Newmar who was a dancer, and Eartha Kitt who was a singer and had a Christmas hit with "Santa Baby". The Riddler was played by impressionist, Frank Gorshin and one season was replaced by John Astin, aka Gomez Addams of "The Addams Family". In Batman The Movie, Catwoman was played by Lee Meriweather. She was the only one who didn't portray her character from the tv series. Will these rides be fun? Tune in Wednesday, Same Bat time, same Bat channel!

Perhaps the names should be "Catwoman: Whip" and "The Riddler: Revenge"?

No--probably not.

Being that I'm not from around SFOT, I'm trying to really pinpoint the new rides locations. I understand Revenge occupies Flashbacks former plot, and Whip occupies the former Bumper Cars plot. Is there "expansion" room behind or near Whip? Just to be clear I'm not referring to the area the Mall is on. Just the area near the new additions.

The area ends at the beginning of the parking lot of the strip mall. They put in a new fence around it.

The rides look great. Are they going to leave all that blacktop like it is?? It needs some more themeing or flowers or seating or all the above. Looks kind of cheap unless they are going to add more to it before Saturday.

Here's the video from Catwoman Whip. Honestly, this looks super fun! I hope more of these floorless enterprise rides get built!

Enterprises were always one of my favorite flat rides growing up. I was bummed to see the one at SFGAdv leave a while back. When I first heard of this "2.0" version I was really excited to see new life breathed into the concept. To see it in action is great - hopefully Six Flags does more of these "2-3 flat ride" packages at other parks!

Yesterday TPR was invited out to Six Flags Over Texas for Gotham City Media Day!! And WOW is all I can say. I have been beyond excited to have a Giant Discovery (Riddler Revenge) and a first of its kind 48 seat Endeavour(Catwoman Whip) in my backyard! These two rides are flat out amazeballs. Yeah, I said it. Amazeballs.

Riddler Revenge has a killer lighting package that can be seen from several miles away and just draws you to the ride. Seating 40 people the ride starts out by spinning and slight swaying back and forth, then it pretty much teases you for a little bit getting slightly higher but at a casual pace, making you think it's not going to be so bad. Then it changes spinning direction and hauls ass at 70mph reaching 147 feet in the air. It has all of the elements of a roller coaster, airtime, g-forces, spinning, and the occasional sick person, making this hands down the best flat ride in the Six Flags chain. You heard me, BEST FLAT RIDE.

But with all the attention on Riddle we can't forget about Catwoman Whip, another Italian made ride that's the first of its kind. Yes there is a 24 seat version, but this is the first 48 seat version. But unlike Riddler there is no teasing here. Once the go button is pressed this thing whirls to life spinning like a tornado before extending you up to 90 degrees. It's like riding Shock Wave over and over again (and really, is that a bad thing? I'll answer that, NO!) You have a few moments of weightlessness followed by tons of positive G's. Fantastic ride, and yeah, it also has a pretty freaking awesome lighting package.

Now you might say, what about the third ride, Harley Quinn Spinsanity? Well move over Crazy Legs, Harley Quinn has invaded your home. Completely refurbished the Troika is back with a color scheme that's spot on not to mention it fits in perfectly now with Gotham City. Gotham city now encompases Freeze, Batman, Batwing and back into the new section. Oh and hey, Johnny Rockets got the new updated scheme with a complete remodel as well!

Seriously this is the best flat ride package I have seen a park put in in a long time and continues a streak of 5 consecutive years that something new has come to SFOT. Money well spent.

So if you were on the fence about planning a trip, get off it and come on down and experience Justice League Battle For Metropolis, Texas Giant, Sky Screamer, Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast, New Revolution Virtual Reality Coaster, and of course the new Gotham City!

The two new rides look great. I've always been a fan of the giant frisbees so I'm glad we got one here.

Sooo, a bud of mine informed me about the event, we're both season pass holders. I was leary about paying an additional $20 for the event anyway, we already have passes why would we?! So I was talked into doing it. After I purchased the ticket I noticed it said the park closed at 6p. I'm thinking surely, they are extending the hours for the event, being that it's a weekday and most adults have 9 to 5's (I'm actually off at 4p). After purchasing my ticket, my bud tells me it's not worth it for him driving from Frisco So, now it's just me... FINE. I'all just do it alone.

Leave work at 4:15p from DT Fort Worth, 20 min commute tops. Make it near Six Flags (Collins) traffic is at a standstill!!! Rangers game is getting out. $#&@*!!! Finally make it to the gate @ 5:30p ... YES, the VIP Event is over at 6p #@&*!!

I make it to Gotham with the shirt, that came with the ticket, and less than ten people are at The Riddler, looks amazing, wait 5 minutes to board. I board, get buckled in it's a GO!

THE ride sways and moves to the right a little, and the ride operator says, "Sorry folks we're having technical difficulties" #@&*!!!

Soo, l stroll over to Catwoman Whip, in my agitated state. Walked right on... is it a GO? .................. YES!! It's a fun ride!

10 minutes left... Batman it is.

I will tell you this much. It will be a looong time before I pay EXTRA for a Six Flags event again!!

Nice report! Thanks for sharing! Glad you enjoy the rides!! I can NOT do spinning rides so I will have to sit these out, but they sure do look good!!

Just came from VIP day for the new rides!! Both rides are outstanding new additions to the park.

Riddler Revenge reminds me of maXair at CP. However, that being said, Riddler is clearly the better ride. RR seems to me to go faster than maXair and swing up higher! I also appreciate the location of the ride right next to Sky Screamer. This makes for some amazing close encounters with riders on SS. The ride itself starts slowly and builds up height and speed until it reaches it's max of 147 feet, with a max speed of about 70 mph. By this time riders are either thrilled or losing their lunch!

Catwoman Whip is a G Force machine much like the Huss Enterprises! But to me CW seemed more intense. Perhaps it's the open feel of the suspended seats as opposed to the gondolas on rides like the old Spinnaker. One word of warning! This ride is a puke machine!!! I would wait awhile between rides and never ride right after you've eaten!!
