Coaster101 2012 Photography Contest

Hi all,

Coaster101.com is holding its annual photography contest, and as TPR members have in the past submitted some really incredible photos, I wanted to let you know that this coming Wednesday, July 11, 2012 is the last day to submit a photograph.

This year there are three photo categories: original, edited and humor. You may enter up to three photos, one in each category. The entry form is incredibly simple. It should take less than a minute to enter.

Voting will begin shortly after the entry deadline (July 11). First place winners in each of the three categories will receive a prize package with goodies from various amusement parks.

Decided to give humor a shot. Can we do an entry for each category or just 1 submission altogether? Edit: nevermind, found the answer! Time to get one in my Edited category!

Another question: I already submitted a photo under editing, is it possible to resubmit my photo? There was 1 more revision I wanted to make to it.

Anyways, after making a single car/row Flight Deck in No Limits, I decided to photoshop the real deal, looks pretty funny!

An unedited/original photo as shot at the park...no in camera filters used, just panning on my automatic setting.

Replacement entry for edited photo, needed a little more to it without overdoing it, capturing the feeling of blacking out during these 2 elements.

I won a category back in 2009 I think it was, and haven't entered since. I've still got my magnet on my fridge!

Never heard of this contest before, time to dig out out some of the 'old' goodies!

I don't know if I'll make an entry in this year, I love participating in this contest. So many talented photographers and I'm not sure if I'd take 1st pace for a 3rd year, but if I have time I'm going to try! Already some awesome photos posted on this site!

I think I'll hold off this year since I haven't really taken enough coaster photos to dig up any exceptional ones. But maybe next year. Even just looking at the photos in this thread so far I know it'll be hard to choose my votes!
