Wasn't there some california law mentioned way back in this topic that any ride that has inversions has to have OTSR's if it gets new trains or is modified? Or was that fake or just not apply to Six Flags and other bigger parks?

This has been covered so many times I forget exactly but I believe it's a MM thing, mainly to keep insurance costs down.

There is no law.

They were added because SF wanted to add them for their own reason. And according to WCB last year, they can now not be removed. They'd either have to buy new trains, or have a different OTSR.

Holy crap you have a HUGE donkey!

Ahhh, okay thanks. I'm just a step or a few ahead of GP at best it seems.

I love the original trains but it would benefit the ride so much more if they just replaced with new trains and did the magnetic brake upgrade like SDL. Maybe then the trims would go away.

On Wednesday when I rode, we went up the lift completely facing the ground and we still only got the one flip at the end. But I have to say the rocking was pretty intense!
Just watch, 6 months after Lex Luthor has opened they will only lift the ride to the top of the brakes and then drop it into the brakes.

^^ You can tell from the shields that the picture isn't current. I'll bet that the picture is from media day or a commercial shoot.

Couple things I see are two (2) Trains/Cars on track at same time and that hasn't been seen since opening week ... my guess is they are waiting for mechanic to come and flip them back over to return into the station.
