Wow! this beast is rising fast. It looks as if it turns to the left at the top before it starts it's drop. this should give us a great profile of just how steep this bad boy will be. I can't wait! Looks like it is time to start planning a 2013 SDC trip. :br

That track is looking very much like T-Express's up close! SDC's train goes right past the station for this ride, and there is a good pic of a little dip coming out of the station and up to the lift. Looking at the track it is evident that this thing will be able to carry some serious speed. Sounds like it will have a good drop from the rumors so far, but I worry a little bit about what the layout will be after the drop...they've mentioned it will have some high speed turns, but nothing yet about airtime and hills. Please, give us some ejector airtime! We know what this type of ride capable of!

I wish they would make Street Fighter Donkey.

^I have a feeling this ride might end up being a more low-profile, out and back version of T-Express. The rumors state that it will have a similar, if slightly taller and steeper, drop to T-express, and I'm sure they'll throw in a few big airtime hills.

Looks like the track is all the way up the lifthill already, and the station is really growing. I expect to see them working on the drop this weekend.

Which came first the turtle or the donkey?

To me with the way this ride is peaking over the trees reminds me very much of the Beast. I'm dreaming here, but if this ends up being a ground-hugging terrain out-&-back/twister combo, it will top many riders' lists for sure. I have really high hopes for this coaster since Silver Dollar City and Rocky Mountain have some fantastic terrain to work with.

Edit: HA! I just realized that the lift-hill and first drop (what's built so far) resemble a coaster I built in No Limits almost exactly. Awesome!

Is the drop curved or straight, because someone above mentioned that it will be curved because of the pre drop?

Does it look record breaking?

^I was just talking about what has been built so far. I'm not sure if the drop is going to be straight or curved. Doesn't really matter to me. This ride's going to be sweet either way.

Is there anyone that knows the park well enough that could pull up a map and circle the area that the new ride is going in? I went to the park in 2012, but the park felt like a maze to me. Wildfire, PowerKeg, and the kiddie area were each a dead end and the park layout slipped my mind.

I guess the race has begun. Which will happen first: completion or announcement? Also, will they finish this before the end of the season?
