Seriously though, it'll probably be nothing big, much as ever. Cedar Fair's had quite the habit recently of really hyping up their announcements, and there's been so little mentioned about this that it really shouldn't lead one to believe in it being anything more than a "passholder day" or something minor like that. One can dream though! :p

Oh my god, it took me several minutes to figure out that you weren't joking and that's actually the announcement they made. What on earth would make them think they should hype that up as a "big announcement"???

^A certain neighbor up the street hyped theirs even more, so I wouldn't go so readily bashing their marketing. :p

I'm just waiting for Knott's to make another surprise announcement and say, "LOL JK! We're adding a new dark ride for 2013!"

So all of that excitement just for pins. Show's over people. Go back to your rides on Xcellerator.

This actually made me laugh.
Really Knotts? If I was a Season Pass Holder I'd probably be jumping off a cliff right about now.

Wow! This really isn't funny as I'll be a 2013 KBF season pass holder. I'm actually very dissapointed and at least thought it would be something not very major but would add to the park, like new Vekoma trains installed on the Boomerang.
