I've done a skycoaster before - but wouldn't have a clue on how to respond doing a SCAD tower. SCAD's look like alot of fun though, I'm going to need to figure out a place that has one and experience it. From the update it looks like great fun and is quite the thrill! ;)

^ Same here!
My palms are all sweaty just thinking about that SCAD tower! If I came across one, I'd definitely do it, but I know I'd scream like none other!

Sorry the Super-Epic contest didn't work out. I'd totally do it, but I live 4.5 hours from the nearest park. So it'd be pretty hard for me to get my first entry in, not to mention the other rounds! But next semester I'm planning to live 45 minutes away! It'd be easier then! :P

OMG Big Mike is going to be at SFMM, but one day before I might be there! I just found out today that there's the likelihood that ASB at my community college is planning a trip for Sunday the 22nd! One day after Big Mike! D: So close to meeting you, yet so far. :)

The SCAD tower was probably the most incredible thing I've ever ridden. Nothing compares to that moment when you realize you've been let go of, and there's nothing between you and concrete but the net (which you can't see). Glad you could experience it yourself! I enjoyed the update as always.

Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers!

Today's episode of The Big Mike Road Show comes to you from the Black Hills of South Dakota once again, and this is South Dakota's first and largest state park!

What is nice about this state park is that is has wildlife roaming free all over the park, and it has some outstanding scenery also!

Reminds me of wildlife parks here were you're allowed to feed deer which grew up in captivity - but there on slow crowd days about 50 deers start to siege you and stick their heads into all your pockets... :b
Parks: 25 - Steel: 111 - Water: 5 - Wood:16 - Total: 132

Holy crap you have a HUGE donkey!

I also don't know about the SCAD tower - that seems like a fool's errand to me. I'd me much more comfortable with skydiving (which is on my bucket list) than the tower, but that's just me I guess.

Also, sorry to hear about the cancellation of the Super Epic contest, but since I'm already enrolled, is there any chance you might pass on a clue as to what the prize for the not-so-epic contest might be......? :b

yeah I think I'll pass on the SCAD tower myself too. I don't think I could get myself to get enough nerve to do it, just give me a track and a car and you can spin me, loop me, and dive me all you want.

I have to join in with those who pass on the SCAD tower! I'm such a big chicken with heights, even secured in a coaster, so there's no way I could just fall like that. It gave me chills just looking at the pictures!

Love the Custer State Park scenery. And the baby burros are so cute! Love that you can just get out and interact with them!
