Why is Chiller's sale constantly brought up? Hasn't it been sold for like 6 months now? :omg:

I would love for Chiller to be reborn somewhere else even if its overseas, I still need to ride Batman side with just lapbars!

I too hope it gets new life somewhere else. When I made my first trip to the park in 2006, it was a bummer to see it sitting there, looking like a cool ride I'd enjoy, but idle and closed. I'm always a sucker for lapbar-only inversions!

As for their new Star Flyer, if I'm thinking correctly, won't this one be the tallest one built in the US so far? I think it will add nicely to the park's skyline.
I would rather be off riding coasters!

Wood Top 5 - (1) El Toro (2) Voyage (3) Ravine Flyer II (4) Phoenix (5) Shivering Timbers

^Yes, I think this beats the one at Magical Midway by 10 feet. ONLY 143 feet short of Wiener Prater's.

Is there any reason why Chiller was down so much more than the Mr. Freeze's? They're similar rides, Chiller just seemed to not work.

Just a guess...the former Londonderry Express from Lotte World closed in 2002 and was resurrected in Kuwait in 2009. Although RCDB states it could actually have opened earlier.

The two Freezes were made after the Chiller, so there was slightly more time to work out the kinks with the LIM systems. Plus I'm sure it didn't help that for a little while they tried to launch both Chiller tracks at once.

Have I mentioned how awesome donkeys are?

Oh how much I miss Chillers roar. You new from the other side of the park when it was running.

It's funny, I only got to ride the Batman side with the lapbars and the zero g roll. While I never got a chance to ride Robin with the zero g rolls. I only got t o ride Robin with the S-Hill. I seriously miss it.

I prefer to mate with donkeys over humans!

^I'm sad I never got to the park earlier when it was open. My first time to great adventure was in 2007. (I went once in 1992, but I wasn't tall enough to do anything so I don't count it, lol).
