As for my reason for switching to Monday, the park is open 9-8 on that Friday in addition to Saturday, so it will probably be busy.

Also, I the whole 'not opening til noon' thing is gonna kill us at Mystery Mine, I can just feel it... lol

Is Dollywood opening at 9a or 10a on Friday? I've seen both times posted.

10AM is the opening time on Friday, 9AM on Saturday.

With the weekend weather looking worse and worse, what rides will Dollywood not operate in the rain? And what is their thunderstorm operations like?

ORLY!
How is Swarm? Looked a little slow to me, but I can't tell how it feels from just video. Is it as forceful as any other B&M, or is it a totally different set of feelings?

Nicely done.

This is so I can post online and impress other people who are very good at procuring unfamiliar children in order to go on rides designed for children, and thus have a higher arbitrary number than me."

We don't close for rain, we do for lightning, however. Most of the larger rides (coasters included) close when lightning is detected within 10 miles, while other rides close when it's a bit closer (6 mile radius). If it is that close, the only rides open are Blazing Fury and Imagination Cinema (the simulator) because both are indoors.

I was just checking out the weather forecast for Friday, as I am getting ready to leave here early Thursday morning to drive up. So far it just says "T-storms" but not whether it is all day or not. Here's hoping everything still moves forward as scheduled!
