^^Agreed, Chuck, and there's probably still a lot that I didn't catch while I was there. Kinda crazy how all out they go with pretty much everything there.

I still remeber the driving school from back when I was a kid at Legoland Billund. Notably in denmark some signs are different/unknown than in germany - so I completly ignored them and caused some accidents....

Ok it's about time I did my Miniland USA report. I've been rather busy with a variety of things lately, but it's time to get another report up!

Most of what I have to say about Miniland USA will be in the captions, but I will say beforehand that it's one of the most impressive things I've seen in person. The attention to detail with everything in the exhibit was phenomenal! I took as many pictures as I could, and I can't share them all here, but check them all out on facebook in this album.

Think of everything you did for the two years before this place opened. During all that, they were building this.

Great Update Steve, I'm dying to get out to Legoland at some point this summer that place looks great! It's amazing how much detail they put into each one of the mini land scenes, you could probably make multiple trips to the place and still find little hidden Easter eggs in the displays.

It would be really cool if they would update that Daytona Speedway scene every year to have a Lego model of the reigning champions car at the front of the pack.

When I grow up, I want to breed donkeys!

I said pretty much the same thing to Steve earlier today. There is so much I missed that day in Miniland. I would love to go back and spend much more time examining all of the scenes in Miniland. It's pretty incredible what they have done!

That's odd, during my visit, they had the Big Shot and X-Scream on top of the Stratosphere Tower. The Big Shot even launched from time to time. Still, this is a fantastic collection of photos. I can't believe how much of the details I actually missed!

^Well at least they had it on there at some point. Strange that it's not there anymore.

I'll echo what you guys have said, I would love to just go back for Miniland and nothing else, just so I could spend more time looking at all the little scenes they had throughout the exhibit. As someone who loved playing with Legos as a kid, I'm awfully jealous at what they were able to build.

I'm really sad I didn't stay long enough to really explore the park. I really just came in to ride the new coaster at opening and then jet because I had to drive back to Alabama. Fortunately, I came in on a comp ticket from someone at IAAPA, so I didn't feel so bad. Next time I will be sure to spend a lot more time there. Great pictures, it made me want to bust out my Lego's, which I definitely still have. Fun Fact: I was once featured in a issue of Brick Kicks/Lego Mania magazine. I was like 10 at the time, and I thought I was a big deal.
