Yeah, the address for the image is ImageShack as well. As soon as I looked at the first drop and first turnaround, the red flag came up.

Whoever decided that photoshopping a Canada's Wonderland logo on Hersheypark's concept art was a good idea, I don't want to even know what your bad ideas are!

The name "Timber Trains" alone was an automatic "Yea, not real" to me.

^Yeah, if it was called "Gotham City Gauntlet Escape from Arkham Asylum", it would have been more believable. ;)

Yeah. I mean...who in their right mind would ever name a coaster that? Terrible name.

Haha, my first thoughts were "gorgeous layout" and "looks like a GCI". I didn't even realize that was Wildcat. I wish that coaster gave the kind of rides it clearly could, though it is fun in a way. "Timber Trains" sounds like an RCT name.

Any hope for a new wooden coaster at Canada's Wonderland some year? I've heard their woodies have potential but aren't very good nowadays, is that right?

I don't see a new woodie in Wonderland's near future. Ghoster Coaster is the best of the three. It was completely retracked a couple seasons back and rides amazingly smooth. Wild Beast has become very rough if you sit anywhere other than the front seat. And Minebuster has been retracked so many times it has no air (other than the first hill after the drop). I'd be happy if either of them got a complete retracking that actually made them smooth enough to enjoy in any seat and provide airtime like they use to!

Maintain/improve what's old before investing in new wood.

The park already has Back Lot Stunt Coaster and Flight Deck in its arsenal... How much lower can they go? ;)

Gotta go farther back then a decade. Wonderlands wooden coasters opened when the park did in 1981. ;)

Thanks to CWMania for the picture. Looks like the clearance test is happening on Leviathan. Full circuit testing should be starting SOON.

I agree with the poster that said Ghoster Coaster was the best woodie in the park. I have been going to this park every few years since 1984 and I don't recall ever having a stellar ride on any of their wood coasters.

Two years ago, Wildbeast plummeted to third from the bottom of my wood coaster poll (only SoB & Hurler at KD were ranked worse). I didn't dare ride Minebuster after that ride on Wildbeast...awful. This past year, I didn't ride any of their wooden coasters as they (actually) had really long lines.

Even with a walk-on, we won't do Wildbeast again unless it has some major retracking done. I might be willing to try Minebuster...just to see if it is as God-awful as Wildbeast.
