Chroniq
Four corners always seemed like a cool little tourist place. Surprised that a lot of shops seem temporary though. Â Â Random fact of the day- The reason for this is that banks won't give mortgages or building loans to Native Americans as the property or building can't be foreclosed if they don't pay. Â Â Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
HighRoller
I feel late to the party - but can I still put in for four duckies at Liseberg? Â If so, Four Duckies at Liseberg.

RoCo
Awesomely entertaining reporting, as always! I can't believe I've never seen any decent photos of Four Corners until this moment. Now a visit is mandatory, as that frybread thing looks pretty mouthwatering. Â Four corners always seemed like a cool little tourist place. Surprised that a lot of shops seem temporary though. gisco
The only time I have been to Ne Mexico was at Four Corners! When I was there it was free and there were no stands, just the monument.
Big Mike
Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers! Â Wednesdays here on The Big Mike Road Show will always have a trip report from a slighty smaller park! Â This trip report comes to you from way down south in El Paso Texas at Oasis Lanes. Â El Paso is a haul from anywhere, but when there is coaster credit to be found, Big Mike is your man to go collect it! Â This was a great trip as there was a huge storm rolling in and Big Mike was high tailing it there to ride the coaster before the skies erupted! Â As I arrive, I can see the coaster is not running, and even more bad news was coming my way. Â I talked to a guy in charge and he informed me that the coaster was sold and it would be moving to Canada, and that it had been shut down since the sale. Â In typical Big Mike fashion, I explained that I travel the World riding roller coasters, had come a really long way, and showed him my Official Big Mike Road Show T-Shirt, which REALLY comes in handy for situations like this! Â Seeing that a celebrity was visiting, he said he would try to start it up, but gave no guarantees as it was having problems going up the lift. Â All Big Mike needed was a chance, and that is where we will pick up the story on this trip report. Â Â First though, don't forget the Midnight Friday deadline to get all your Find the Ducky guesses in!!!!!! Â Also, here is a recap of this weeks programming on The Big Mike Road Show so far in case you missed any exciting episodes: Â Monday - Liseberg in Sweden and Find the Ducky - http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1130336#p1130336 Tuesday - Four Corners USA - http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1130770#p1130770 Oasis Lanes! You can't find many coaster rides that just cost a dollar! Cobra Coaster! Wisdom. Â A closer look says it runs in the rain! A view of the coaster. Side view. Power supply. Train. Close up on the Cobra. View of the lift. Big Mike hoping for the best that the coaster can climb the lift. Try 1, roll back, try two, roll back, try three, roll back. Try four, Ka-Ching! Top view. Big Mike has much praise for this great guy who went well out of his way to accomidate The Mighty Big Man! Did I mention the coaster also lights up, which looks really nice when Big Mike positions it in front of the nicely colored sky. Night view. There were a couple other rides at Oasis Lanes too like the Dust Devil. Mirage Himalaya. Of course there is the bowling alley too. Oasis Lanes! A little bit of everything, way off the beaten path for The Big Man, but conquered nonetheless. Just in case anyone ever wanted to see what I call the "Just got a tough credit" smile, here ya go! Â Also smile worthy, other people came out after seeing Big Mike riding and got in line to ride also, but they all got denied lol! Also as a side note, Big Mike got out of there just in time! Â Just before airing this episode, I called Oasis Lanes to keep The Valuable Big Mike Readers updated, and the coaster is actually still at Oasis Lanes and it never went to Canada, but I was informed it is broken and has not run in a long time. Â Thanks for reading everybody! Â Peace, Big Mike

Big Mike
Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers! Â Thursday programming on The Big Mike Road Show is the same as Tuesday programming, where you get to see somewhere out there on the coaster road where Big Mike visited and thought he could bring it back to TPR just in case you were ever in that area too! Â Todays episode of The Big Mike Road Show comes to you from the state of South Dakota, and the place is called "Wall Drug Store"! Â I made this stop after hitting the coaster at Boondocks in South Dakota and on the way to Badlands National Park! Â This place is kind of like "South of the Border", where you see sign after sign hundred of miles away to build the anticipation. Â Wall Drugs started as a place to get a free drink of water as you were passing through, and has evolved to a mega site with just about everything under the sun. Â It is touted as "America's Favorite Roadside Attraction!" Â There is free Admission to this 76,000 square foot wonderland of free attractions! Â Â I hope you enjoy! Â Â Peace, Big Mike Wall Drug Store! Located very close to the Black Hills of South Dakota! Wall Drugs started as a place to get free glasses of water way back in the day, so Big Mike had to get some water just for the history of it! Big Mike always gets the ladies. The courtyard in the middle of all the stores, restaurants, and other oddities has a whole bunch of picture taking possibilites like this stage coach.... .... bunny..... ..... horse ride..... .... railroad..... ..... a buffalo...... .... and finally a dinosaur, with an actual roar! Wall Drug Store was a nice break, and the food and fun was worth a stop! Â Hope you enjoyed! Â Peace, Big Mike
better_by_design
Never underestimate the power of the Big Mike Charm!!! Â You speak the truth! I am in awe of the powers of Big Mike! Â Also: 4 duckies. Lock it in!
cfc
Aw . . . Gwendolynn has a halo. Â Â I've heard of Wall Drug, but I've never been there; however, it is prominently mentioned in a book titled 101 Places Not to See Before You Die, which also includes Times Square on New Year's Eve and Paris Disney. Â Note that I do not endorse the contents of this book, as amusing as its entries are. I merely point out that it exists. If I were in South Dakota, I would probably stop at Wall Drug. gisco
My Dad was born in South Dakota. One of these days I'm going to plan a trip there and I will pt this on the to do list if it is close by!

printersdevil78
I think I enjoy these roadside attraction TRs even more than the park ones! Wall Drug is awesome (though the "ice" water was warm when I visited). Four Corners, on the other hand... that place is a crap hole.
