After various concerts I've met all the members of Papa Roach, Flobots (twice), Mike Ness of Social Distortion, Everlast (Whitey Ford), a couple of the guys from All American Rejects (including the singer), and members of other bands I can't remember at the moment. I also met Chuck Lidell who was at the Everlast concert. I've also seen Cuba Gooding Jr.(who seemed pretty tipsy) and Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains at a Steel Panther concert in Hollywood, though I didn't meet them (I did wave the peace symbol (or was it the devil's horns?) at Jerry Cantrell and he waved it back at me.

My uncle has met the President several times and sent my family a picture of him with the President holding his baby child (my cousin). I thought that was pretty cool. =)

Due to where I work I've met a ton of soap stars, a couple of celebrities including Jerry O'Connell once during the holidays he came thru my checkout lane and spent a couple hundred dollars.

Musicians:
All the members of Aerosmith (Steven Tyler 3 times over) He even signed a picture of me and him and has a scarf that a friend made on one of his mic stands.

Jon Bon Jovi last March at a photo op thru his fan club. I love my group photo because I was standing next to him with my hand on his shoulder. But for him to turn to me, make eye contact, smile and nod to walk over to him was PRICELESS. Totally had me off guard because I was NOT expecting that from him. Best night of my life.

Have I mentioned how awesome donkeys are?

I saw Willford Brimley (The Diabetes guy) in D.C. once. He was having Chicken Fried Steak w/ gravy, hashbrowns, eggs (with a crap load of salsa), and a Coke...Guess his diabetes went away.

I met Bob Villa at a woodworking show some years back. He was there signing autographs. I also met Maple Leafs goalie Jonas Gustavsson at a comic book/card shop signing autographs as well.

I met comedian Josh Blue this weekend!
He was a riot!
We chatted after one of his shows for a short time, and got his picture and autograph.

Oh boy. Let me see....

I've met a TON of baseball players. Mostly Detroit Tigers, past & present, including:
Al Kaline
George Kell
Willie Horton
Mickey Lolich
Jim Price
Jim Northrup
Alan Trammell
Kirk Gibson
Lou Whittaker
Guillermo(Willie) Hernandez
Justin Verlander
Cecil Fielder (I remember watching his son, now Brewers slugger, Prince, run around the dugout in Detroit when he was a little kid)
... a lot more that I won't even bother listing as most of you probably never heard of them.

Some of the Tampa Bay Rays I've met:
Evan Longoria
Desmond Jennings
Matt Joyce

I've also met Barry Larkin, Ernie Harwell (he was the "Voice of the Tigers" on the radio), Sparky Anderson, Jose Lima (I was SHOCKED when he suddenly died... he was so sweet), Carl Crawford (before he deserted us for the Red Sox), Carlos Peña...

Then there's the bands/musicians...
Duran Duran
Nile Rodgers
Live
Sugar Ray
Avril Lavigne (I met her just a few months before she "broke" in the US)
a couple guys from Anberlin
OK Go

Comedians:
Carrot Top
Margaret Cho

Celebs I've seen in person but not met:
Mark Harmon
Bob Saget

I think that's it.

Did he remind you to eat your oat bran?

Before he was the "diabetes guy", he was the "oat brand guy" in the late 80s/early 90s.
