Great Photo TR- it makes me miss what was my home park for the better part of a decade...

The old DF station was well behind the BBW track area- in an odd corner behind the Festhaus. You can still see it from behind the Bumper cars pavillion- well in the distance.

First day of the TPR NE trip. KD & BGE were amazing, but I was even much more excited for the NE trip.

We still had a long drive ahead from Williamsburg to Newark. On a stopover I discovered a new favorite drink :-)

59th street. I was explained how to find your way in the NYC blocks several times, but I still didn't understand. I must admit, I really hate big cities, so that's probably why. My main goal that afternoon was staying close to Elissa so that I didn't get lost. I managed to do that (unlike Hans at a certain moment ;-) ) and I must admit, I really liked the NYC vibe. Walking around in my home city (Antwerp) during lunch at work, really made me wanting to be in NYC again.

AWESOME QUESTION ! I think we did.
Meet Scott, our pizza tour guide. Okay, here's a really true story : I didn't really prepare for the trip. I even didn't read the guidebook. I didn't know the names of all parks we were going to visit, barely knew which coasters we were going to ride, but I knew we were going to eat pizza that evening. I didn't know that there would be a tour and when the obsessed pizza man started to talk, at first I was thinking he was a stand-up comedian.
Viewed 819 times
65.jpg
But Scott was bloody serious about his pizza stuff. I had no idea there was so much to be told about pizza's. He even knew that the most famous pizza restaurant here in belgium in Domino. But from his reaction I could make up that this is a chain of restaurants, known worldwide, so nothing special obviously. But I'm certainly going to try it out one of these days. On the pizza tour we first went to Lombardi's, if I remember well the oldest pizza restaurant in the USA.
