Photo TR: Hanno goes to Japan with TPR

So after a lot of fun at Kijima is was time or the second park that day.

Day 3 (part two): Wonder Rakutenchi

Another lovely park with an amazing view (downhill) especially later that day.

Fun coaster and a lot of animal related things (zoo/petting/birds etc) which i apparently did not take pictures of (bummer)

Owh yeah.. and another fine example of TPFail

It was a fun afternoon

That little park (to me) looks so wonderful in every way- classic, small park and has a 'charm' to it that I've yet to see in a lot of the Japanese parks. Perhaps it's me and living in the Desert- but all those lovely green trees did look great!

Day 4: Mitsui Greenland.

A very big park (compared to a lot of other Japan parks) with plenty of things to do. Biggest plus.. McDonald's in the park

The photos you take always amaze me Hanno, maybe it's because not a lot of people take DSLR's into amusement parks very often... I don't know. Either way, amazing photos and updates! Thanks for sharing.

The Intamin looper at Space world still looks a lot like a late Schwarzkopf looper.....

If you mean venus, it's a maurer sohne and Schwarzkoph was a consultant for that coaster and aided in the design. The track, trains, brakes, etc are all VERY similar to the track, trains, brakes, etc on Schwarzkopf's very last coaster which was in japan but now operats at Wonder Island in Russia

Day 5: Universal Studios Japan

Home to the most amazing Jaws ever

A fun B&M called Hollywood Dream.

Space Fantasy, a classic called Backdraft and so many other amazing things to do and look at

Yeah, i was very impressed by the park and had a great time there.

Love the pictures of the people on the rides. Looks like the trip from 07 people wise. Hardly anyone in the parks except for Universal and Disney!

Yeah, never been much of a Disney fan.. but DisneySea was a park i had to see and it did not disappoint I'll keep an eye on flights to Tokyo and Disney Hotel prices for a few more months

Day 6: Parque Espana

This was a hot hot day (like really really hot) but it was so worth it.

Amazing musical escalator ride One of the better B&M's out there and a very nice park.

There will be a lot of Pyrenees pictures in this update

Another wonderful update, Hanno- and so many Japanese in their cloaking hoods- The park looked so empty, one has to think the park has been abandoned- save the operating rides!

What an awesome trip it was..

At least i still have a few more days/updates to go before this trip report is done..

The awesomeness just doesn't stop... GREAT shots of everything! (Hollywood Dream's trains are really amazing looking.) And Parque Espana is gorgeous! I guess every damn park in Japan has to go on the bucket list...
