Why Do You Love Theme Park Review?

Because the guys that run Point Buzz are to anal!

I'd have to say I like it here simply because of the strong sense of humor, great videos and an excellent community, very down to earth. I must add that Robb and Elissa are great peeps running a great site, in which I've been a long time visitor of (First visited in 1998 or 1999 and continued visiting it since)

I'm here because I love ThemeParkReview.com, Robb and Elissa are great people, and the forums provide a fun and intelligent enviroment.

I thought after my comment about Point Buzz, this post would be filling up.

I like Theme Park Review, because these are the only boards wich are multicultural. You see all the people from all over the world, having one hobby: "RollerCoasters"!

9. The last time I visited a theme park other than my home park was 3 years ago, so Robb and Elissa show me what I am missing

6. Photos of every Carrabas in the continental US.

5. I can learn new uses for chopsticks.

4. I can travel the world without having to move out of my comfy office chair.

3. I have learned a whole vocabulary of new terms like "trims" "sheds" etc. that make me feel like like a real coaster enthusiast (while riding the Beastie with my 6 year old)

2. Lots of fun pictures of fun places and people.

1. I've always liked hamsters and donkeys.

I don't think I have access to Point Buzz anymore. Damn... How will I go on?

While spending some time on other sites (which shall be nameless), trying to suss out when Kingda Ka would actually open, I was reminded of why I hang out here.

No offense to the semi-literate 10-year-olds who post at those aforementioned sites, but an endless succession of postings along the lines of "i sure hope KK open on this week cos it's so kewl, and u all r stuped if yuou think differnt and my moom will take me i think" is really not my idea of riveting reading.

Guess I'm just showing my age.
