Advice on SoCal in June

Hey all, Im hitting SoCal finally in early june for an extended weekend (arrive thursday, returning monday), Im looking at trying to hit DLR and SFMM while im there. Seeing that we have quite a few folks who work and cover the parks in Sunny Southern California, I was wondering if you had any wisdom you could impart on a texas hayseed such as myself

I'd like to comment on how not all Texans are "Hayseeds".

Only knowlege I got is...well...Last time I went I lost my voice because of the smog, atleast thats what a doctor told me...so...don't breath! Oh and when I was at Disneyland this guy asked me to sit through a presentation for timeshares for Disney Bucks or whatever. I't wasnt worth it.

Hmmm...funny...I've lived here all my life and I've never lost my voice or had any smog-related issues. I must be breathing different air.

My advice would be try to hit SFMM on the Thursday or Friday, unless you're willing to buy the Q-Bot Flash Pass to bail you out of the hot & slow coaster queues.

That would save DLR for the weekend, but, FastPass is free, most of the attractions there are indoors, & there are shows n' things to see & do while dealing with crowds.

I might be in the minority with this, but I always viewed Disneyland as a much easier park to visit when crowded than Magic Mountain.

I'd say you could do SFMM any of the days, but of course a Thursday or a Sunday would be the least crowded. But I'd save the least crowded days for Disneyland if I were you. Disneyland is always crowded especially in the summer. I'd expect SFMM to be crowded in June too, because I went twice last June and it was pretty crowded, but SFMM really could just end up being empty the day you go. I had a friend that went in July and it was empty, so you never really know.

I'll take the locals word on it. Guess I might have been sick. That too and the doctor was some weird asian dude who didn't speak much english
