^I didn't find Timberhawk to be too rough. There were a couple of small spots of air but overall it pales in comparison to other woodies in the northwest: Coaster (Playland), Timber Terror and Tremors.

They really do skimp in the park. In addition to the rides being down and things not getting fixed, Timberhawk doesn't even have a covering where they keep the second train, so the upholstery on the trains is all messed up.

Also, they ran out of parks maps, oh the horror!

I thought Playland was just as neglected... now I really rethink that after seeing the inside of Wild Waves like this.

How did you like that freaky out-of-this-world airtime on Coaster? And the lack of ANY modern safety features. You got to love Coaster alright!
Best: | 1. Medusa (SFDK) | 2. Coaster (Playland) | 3. Behemoth (CW) | 4. Giant Dipper (SCBB) | 5. Titan (SFOT) Worst: | 1. Grizzly (CGA) | 2. Flight Deck (CW) | 3. Corkscrew (Playland) | 4. Dragon Fire (CW) | 5. Rainbow Chaser (Fun Forest)
- Rides don't hurt people, people do. (although some exceptions)

Why do I still have a donkey title???

Ah, a little patience will be necessary. My Playland comments and pictures will probably appear middle to late next week.

Next stop after leaving Wild Waves was Remlinger Farms, It about a 40 minute drive northeast of Wild Waves. Since I enjoyed my visit to Schnepf Farms and their excellent kiddie coaster I decided to take a chance on this one.

At Remlinger, besides the coaster there are a couple more rides for kids and everything is tightly packed together, not spaced out like at Schnepf. The coaster was not nearly as wild as the one at Schnepf but you never know until you try.

There is lots of fresh produce on hand and country items at the main store. Alongside was a restaurant where the food (especially the homemade pies) looked very good.

In the end I'm glad I stopped by to visit the place and support the local farmers in the region.

One piece of bad news for the cookie and gravy boat contingent. The coaster has a posted weight limit.

I did. Two of my nieces are big fans of Count von Count. He's going to be at BGW's Howl-o-Scream this year.

HOLY CRAP!!! I WAS STANDING WITHIN 20 FT OF A TPR MODERATOR!!! :omg: I apologize, oh greatness, for pestering you. Forgive me! (I'm not kidding, I was there that SAME DAY!)

Overall this TR is going well. Great photos and good comments.
