SFoG looks soooo cool! I really want to go make it out there next time I'm down south.

Doesn't know how to spell "Enthusiast."

you've got some nice pictures there, Electerik — i keep feeling like i should go to Six Flags Over Georgia since it's probably the closest “major” park that i haven't been to, but then i realize that “closest” means an 8-hour drive, and start to think “maybe next year…” but, i don't know… maybe i will get down (up?) there this year… or, not…

FAIL! Not a single rapids shot. ;)

Some great shots in there and glad you both had fun. If you're headed back there this summer and would like to meet up, I'd happily make the drive.

Good report and I did enjoy several of the Goliath shots. Thanks!

Can I park my donkey here?

SFoG is a pretty good park when everything is running. I do say they could add another coaster or 2 and a few more flat rides (I.E. Huss Giant Frisbee, Mondial Inferno, Tivoli Re-Mix, KMG XXL, Kamikaze, Fabbri Evolution)

also, to really enjoy the park, you have to be there on the right days. some days you just really get all the riff-raff, some others you get super extreme crowds, and the rest of the days where the crowds are light are the best days to go. that's when you get to ride pretty much whatever is running and just really enjoy the scenerey and not have to worry about fighting lines and people.

and yes, what is up with Ninja's lake being drained?

Donkeys give me orgiastic scream!

Great TR of my favorite SF park! Makes me miss it terribly, especially since I doubt I'll get to make it down there this year. My only complaint about the place is the lack of flats, otherwise it's a great park. I've never had any horrific experiences with unruly guests, just the occasional disgruntled employee, but I've had that with virtually every corporate park I've been to.

While in Atlanta, we checked out the Georgia Aquarium. I never used to be much interested in aquariums, but Misty really likes them. As a result, I've been visiting a lot more of them, and they're really starting to grow on me.

I'm including these photos for anyone who might be interested. But be warned: the closet thing to a credit here is a slide. :P
World's Largest Aquarium
An interesting challenge...I guess I could have just taken the stairs. :OP
Ticket booths. They also had a (temporary) Titanic exhibit and a 3-D show, both upcharges.
The entrance lobby. It's strikingly cool/elegant in person.
You are in your house (presumably).
The aquarium is arranged somewhat like a shopping mall.
Kind of a boring fish, but I like the photo.
How many seahorses do you see?
The alligators really seemed to like this little girl. Isn't that sweet?
Beluga Whales
The entrance to the world's largest aquarium tank thingy (at the world's largest aquarium complex).
Underwater tunnel fun.
The world's largest fish, the whaleshark.
See? I told you it was big.
The Georgia Aquarium actually has four whalesharks.
No fish served in the restaurant, but there was an impressive selection of desserts.
Jellyfish are from Mars.
Here be the tropical fish.
Hello...? Anybody out there?
I have no idea what these are. I mean, beyond fish.
The exit gift shop. So far, this is the best aquarium I've been to. Thanks for anyone out there who's still with me. :O)
