I checked your photo gallery. Wow, there are so many pictures there! I'm looking for all the ones where I can see myself. I found about 20 already, but I think it will take me few weeks to go through everything. Great job!

Day 7 was spent at Six Flags Great America...

most pictures were taken while walking from one ride to the other or waiting in line...

After a long drive we arrived at Cedar Point to only discover that there was a power outage.

After some flashlight fun it was time to get in the room....

I decided to take my tripot and take some pictures from the window.
After a while the power came back and the lights went on again.

I've also added pics of day 8 which was bit short (picture wise)

After being lucky to keep my camera dry in the morning i decided to not take it with me for the remainder of the day (shame on me)

So this is a very short update of the night before and the morning of Day 8

Nice Trip Report. The pictures looked really good quality. That line for Maverick looked insane, I would not have the patience to stand there.

You Know, Its really wasn't THAT insane. The lines you saw were for early hotel guest ERT. The park hadn't even opened the line yet due to possible rain. So the line you see looks long because it has yet to enter the Queue

That line for Maverick does look pretty insane, but you need to remember that was before they opened the queue. I was in about the same place line-wise the next day when they opened the queue, and my wait was less than 40 minutes--including the time standing in the line before the queue was open. The line for Maverick moves, and I wish I'd made the time to ride it more than once.

Hanno, I absolutely LOVE your pictures! I've got a Nikon D50 with very similar lenses (18-55 and a 70-300) that I had on the trip with me too, but you know how to really make the camera work. I love capturing close ups of people on the rides as well, the pure natural reactions of people really come through then!

My favourite thing about your trip report is that you have pictures of absolutely everyone on the trip! Everyone else's (mine included) focus alot more on who they hung out.

I can't wait to see the rest of your stuff! Thanks for posting them!

Day 9 of the trip.. Our second day at Cedar Point.

After a nice credit run (once the rain stopped the day before) i spent most of this day taking pictures of... a lot of things.

This is going to be a "big"update (105) pictures but please keep in mind it's just a selection.

This update will include the most "bizarre" picture i've ever taken...
