I had to watch from work, but I had chills running down my spine and nearly cried. Such an awesome feeling.

Even better is now Ducks fans can't hold a Stanley Cup over our heads. And San Jose hasn't won it yet.

I will say that even though I wanted the Devils to win I was still happy to see LA win the Cup, especially on home ice. I also really liked the class Marty showed in the final handshake when he just hugged Quick congratulating him. Congrats to LA on a well deserved first Cup.

Was going to try and get tickets for the Rally inside Staples on Thursday. Apparently all the Season Ticket Holders got them during their presale and are now selling them on eBay and Craigslist.

I don't begrudge them getting first crack at the tickets, they should, but it's sad they feel they need to make a buck off the rest of us fans.

I'm soo happy I was able to pick up a single. It took me 5mins of spamming the Ticketmaster website at 6pm. And to my surprise, Ticketmaster didn't tack on any of their ridiculous fees! So it was truly a free event!

And I bet a lot of those season ticket holders are really ticket brokers, not legit fans.

^ Agreed, and that's again, really sad. Let us have "something" instead of always trying to make a buck.

If tickets drop down in the next day or so I may try to snag a pair.

Funny, just looked on CraigsList and all the tickets for sale have been flagged for removal. Good for them!!!

No such removal from eBay. Bastages. And yes, they are all brokers.

If I was Staples I would have charged $10 at the door and had the proceeds go to charity. I would have much rather had the tickets go to something worthwhile than greedy brokers.

I bet LA would be a pretty awesome place to be right now with the parade. Hopefully I'll get to go to one next year, but that's something we've been saying for too long. :(

Here are a few photos from the Kings victory parade.

This is the first victory parade I have ever been to.

Time to head inside for the fan rally. Tickets for this event were free and was sold out within 5mins of being made available. Unfortunately, quite a few ticket brokers took full advantage. Some people I heard payed up to $400 for a ticket to this event. I was one of the lucky one to get a ticket for free.

It was a very fun event. The most memorable part for me was seeing the Stanley Cup for the first time in person and Quicks drunk speech were he said "fu*K" three times on live TV.

From the Flyer's Facebook page:

OFFICIAL: Flyers acquire the 45th & 117th overall picks in this year's Draft and a 4th round pick in the 2013 Draft from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.

not a huge loss imo

The Penguins are really cleaning house with Staal and now Michalek. They must be planning on making a huge splash on July 1st with Parise or someone else.

Staal wasn't going to re-sign to stay a 3rd line center.
