Great report! Loved reading your thoughts on the different rides and the commentary + humor along the way was a great touch.

Glad to see a TPR veteran posting more often!

I have just really enjoyed reading this report!

SFoG is my home park, and I absolutely love that you had a good time there and liked it.

I'll agree on Twisted Cyclone, when the layout and POV was released, I was not too impressed. Then I rode it. LOL.

Thanks again for taking the time to post this.

Fantastic report, I love SFOG so much and I'm going back soon so you got me excited.

I laughed a lot reading these updates, love the part about the six lifts on Dahlonega.

What's with the donkeys anyway?

Awesome report. That was a fun read.

"there's a bunch of monsters and a part where you "get your photo taken" but then never actually get to see it. So where does it even go?"

I have always wondered the same thing. :lmao:

"Excuse me, miss, may I pound my large rooster into your donkey?"

Great report! I’m glad you liked SFOG so much. I will say, even though the operations and crowd can be a complete disaster, it is still in my opinion the nicest Six Flags Park and has a superb ride line-up. Many of their rides are the best of their kind.

Monster Mansion photo at the beginning is immediately displayed on the wall after it is taken. Your boat travels passed it. The projector may not be working anymore so they may have stopped displaying it. They used to sell the picture in the Mon-Store with all kinds of great custom Monster Mansion Merch. They even had a small museum set up about the ride’s history.

The store was added when Monster Plantation got completely restored and they changed the name to Monster Mansion. I talked to the GM about the store being removed and he said it had terrible ROI while the Jelly Belly store they put in its place has one of the best ROIs in the park. So that’s the story behind the photo. Sad but true.

Great report! That wave turn really does look incredible on Twisted Cyclone.

I actually think Goliath is far better in the back because of the three large drops at the start and added Gs on the downward helix.

^ I agree. I rode Goliath once or twice in the front and while it was good, I rode it in the back a dozen times, preferring it much more. Its a great hyper, love that there is no midcourse and that wonky turn at the end is ridiculous and very un-B&M. I rank it under Nitro and Mako but higher than Apollo, even though all of them are great. I'm just a B&M hyper fan.
