Postby SharkTums » Fri Sep 08, 2017 7:38 am

Since we live here and a lot of people visit and want info I figured we could use a thread like this to keep everyone updated on schedules/closures/damages/etc.

This thread is for facts and not crazy speculation or rumors. I will updated as much as I can!

*9/11 Update - All theme parks will open as normal tomorrow, Tuesday 9/12! Disney Springs is also open normal! Water Parks remain closed.

Obviously I know Orlando is about as inland as you can get on the Florida peninsula but it sounds like it'll still be really nasty there. Stay safe guys.

I have two buddies, one in Fort Lauderdale, the other in Miami, both of which are not evacuating. They're crazy. Very worried.

Stay safe you guys, and anyone else who is reading this from Florida. This does not look like its going to be good.

^I can always duck under a table with my bike helmet here...I've only been on one roller coaster that let me wear a helmet! (and I chose against it as I didn't want Chinese lice!)

You sure you don't want to ride an SLC? Wild Adventures is offering Free Admission this weekend to anyone in an evacuation-ordered county!

Updated thread with additional Disney closures.

Is this the first time Disney has ever been closed for two full days in a row?
