The bun doesn't look that great, let alone the rest of what can be seen, in it. :|

But when ya gotta eat... ya gotta eat, what you can get.

This next update is Huge, just like the park is. Today's stop brings us to Six flags over Texas. This is the first ever six flags park. We really did like this park, even though it had one of the most confusing layouts.

The star of the show here is definitely the Texas giant. The Texas giant falls on my top 10 list...can you guess what number 1 is? While it is a great ride, it seemed to be lacking something. Can't put my finger on it though. I did enjoy the rattler more than this one. With that being said, let's move onto some pictures shall we?
20170706_124543.jpg
After driving around for 30 min to find the entrance due to the lack of signs, we finnaly arived!
20170706_125802.jpg
The titan makes itself known from the parking lot
20170706_130348.jpg
So does La Vibra
20170706_130606.jpg
History and stuff....
20170706_130545.jpg
Here is the park entrance
20170706_131112.jpg
And look who was there to greet us!
20170706_141658.jpg
So we turned left, got lost, and found our first ride of the day.
20170706_140413.jpg
This dark ride uses boats.
20170706_140940.jpg
Fun ride, but maybe a bit outdated. Kids loved this one.
20170706_141912.jpg
Next up was the parks indoor coaster runaway mountain. Thank God there was no lines today.
20170706_142816.jpg
This was a fun coaster, plus it was air conditioned.
20170706_143123.jpg
After a brief breakdown, we got to ride. Fun coaster. Would have liked to ride it again during our visit, but kept getting side tracked and missed out.
20170706_150529.jpg
The parks scrambler looked like it was an original ride that opened with the park.
20170706_150552.jpg
Even the outdoor line had air conditioning piped in.
20170706_154204.jpg
With the hot weather, a ride on a log flume sounded good.
20170706_154333.jpg
So apparently, this log flume has two different channels. One was in use, this one was not.
20170706_155322.jpg
This flume was just ok. Apparently it was the first one ever built.
20170706_162458.jpg
So....we came across this giant of a coaster.
20170706_150458.jpg
This coaster is huge!
20170706_175113.jpg
First drop
20170706_180419.jpg
Most of the layout. Notice how it looks very similar to the mean streak version?
20170706_180257.jpg
I'm loving the theaming of the train.
20170706_180459.jpg
20170706_220146.jpg
Station theaming
20170706_220157.jpg
I loved the chicken coop waiting area in the station. Not only was it a perfect place to complete our parent swap, but it also made chicken noises.
Screenshot_20170725-180408.png
Anybody know what the white brackets are for on the first drop?
20170706_220203.jpg
Brake run
20170706_220414.jpg
One last look at Texas giant. I love this shot.
20170706_172435_001.jpg
In the western area, they have this hilarious show. The staff was kind enough to let us take a picture with them.
20170706_181836.jpg
La Vibra is a bobsled coaster. These are becoming rare.
20170706_183228.jpg
Lift hill

Station shot
20170706_185412.jpg
Some of the layout.
20170706_185355.jpg
One last look
20170707_144134.jpg
Time for a spin on the parks train.
20170706_163052.jpg
But first, you have to buy tickets from this guy.
20170706_140501.jpg
Wanted to check this ouy, but it was closed
20170707_155833.jpg
This was a pretty interesting spin and puke ride.
20170707_144030.jpg
Interesting....
20170707_160354.jpg
This was one hard coaster to find
20170707_161249.jpg
Very hard to get a decent shot of this coaster.
20170707_160520.jpg
Station shot
20170707_104346.jpg
It was a decent coaster...nothing too exciting
20170707_155614.jpg
The riddler. I'm not sure, but this version seemed bigger than other versions I have been on.
20170707_212002.jpg
It also had a hell of a light package
20170707_111652.jpg
The Texas version of the spinning coaster
20170707_170550.jpg
A few looks at it spinning
20170707_164541.jpg
20170707_170925.jpg
Station shot.

We're only about half way through the Texas six flags park. Look for much more tomorrow.

Nice report. I've only been to SeaWorld San Diego so I definitely need to check out the others. Wave Breaker looks like a nice little coaster.
Top 5 Wood- Phoenix, Boulder Dash, Wildfire, Balder, Voyage
Top 5 Steel- Expedition GeForce, Iron Rattler, Fury 325, Twisted Colossus, Shambhala
Top 5 Parks- Europa Park, Cedar Point, Disneyland, Phantasialand, Knoebels

It is.
Just don't expect it to be a big thrill ride. It's the perfect family coaster.

I am late but I was at Seaworld the day after you and it was so dead! Great pix of a decent park. Beautiful park but the staff at the coasters seemed irritated they had to work.
I may not know everything about coasters... what I do know is they are my life...

Favorite Steels: Maverick, Millennium Force, Sky Rush, Talon, Poltergeist, I-305
Favorite Wooden: Iron Rattler

TPR Trips: Northeast 2011, LeviaTHON 2012

It was dead when we were there as well. A park worker was telling us that they were slammed the day before we were there.
