Annnndddd we're back!
Southwest%20Orange-20150918-03699.jpg

As we all know HHN orlando is a big deal. This guy isn't letting something small like house arrest stop him from coming!
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03927.jpg

I ran into some new yorkers who came thurs night and was only about to do 3 house. I took it upon myself to show them how its done and we were gonna get it all done in one night, thanks to stay and scream. First house . . .
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03928.jpg

Great house! How did they manage to find all the jasons I have no idea! But they were all tall and bulky like the movies. Love the transition from crystal lake to elm street and back between each one. Let's move on to a classic.
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03929.jpg

I think this is the first time in modern history of HHN that they have brought back a house in its entirety. And I'm not mad about it at all! The wolves are bigger and its even an extra one. It was cool hearing the new yorkers say it was just like the movie! Next up . . .
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03931.jpg

Walking back there affords some cool shots!
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03933.jpg

Let's go back In time . . .
Southwest%20Orange-20150918-03718.jpg

I just love this house! All the scenes blended seamlessly and they picked a good selection. Opening weekend when I came it seemed they had regular clowns. Now they've got it right and jack was all thru the house! Let's move along.
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03934.jpg

Uh oh . . . 20 minutes???? Deep breath.
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03935.jpg

False alarm! Ended up being a walk on . . . Or is that in? Anyway check out that georgous facade . . .
Southwest%20Orange-20150918-03712.jpg

Now this is more like it!
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03936.jpg

And of course the facade.
Southwest%20Orange-20150918-03728.jpg

Let's run . . . To RUN!
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03937.jpg

Here comes the contenders.
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03938.jpg

Let's go!
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03940.jpg

Now on to the die-in
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03942.jpg

Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03945.jpg

Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03946.jpg

Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03949.jpg

Time was winding down (park was getting crowded) so I decided to take one more stab at the walking dead . . .
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03953.jpg

I just don't know. I felt this house was not good . . . At all. Has the theme reached its peak? Was last season just meh? I dunno. Time to year out, an early morning awaits me!
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03955.jpg

Before I go, I ran into this celeb!!!
Southwest%20Orange-20151009-03956.jpg

Still looks great! Doesn't look a day over 600! Lol lol. Ok guys tune in for the next stop . . .

Alright! Next stop on the #EpicHalloweenAdventure . . .
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03966.jpg

Yep . . . The entertainment capital of L.A., and also the home of halloween horror nights hollywood! I love doing both parks HHN back to back as it keeps it all fresh in my head and of course for bragging rights lol.
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03978.jpg

I dread theme parks on a saturday so I was bummed when I found out the VIP option was not available so I'll do the next best thing . . .
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03979.jpg

Something looks strangely familiar.
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03981.jpg

First house of the night!
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03982.jpg

Much like orlandos, this house lost me. Was suppose to be the. Ingest house in Hollywood history. Didn't that longer than most to me. Next up, insidious!
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03985.jpg

The best house to me at hollywood! Love the energy of the scaractors. The dark areas were kinda meh. I know it was suppose to be the further but I remember fog before. Decided to do the 3D house.
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03986.jpg

Guess if I had seen the movie I would understand this house more. It was fun though. Not sure why use content you have to bleep out every other word though. Well, took the tram to the backlot for the other 2 houses.
Los%20Angeles-20151010-03989.jpg

I had no idea what was going on in crimson peak other than seeing the same woman over and over. I guess when the movie comes out it will male sense. Did AVP which was a carbon copy of last year. I ended up skipping Halloween due to the length of the line. Overall I like HHN hollywood but its just not orlandos just yet! Off to the next destination!

So, after a day of SFA (08/08/15) I decided to spend an evening at Kings Dominion.
Beaverdam-20150808-03263.jpg

And since I knew it would be impossible to get night rides on this tomorrow . . .
Beaverdam-20150808-03280.jpg

Sigh . . .
Beaverdam-20150808-03284.jpg

Just look at it.
Beaverdam-20150808-03286.jpg

But im really here for this!
Beaverdam-20150808-03287.jpg

The next morning, 08/09/15, I went back to the park for a full day. If course there is a problem with this one.
Beaverdam-20150809-03296.jpg

Love arriving early to the parks for some tranquil moments like this.
Beaverdam-20150809-03297.jpg

There it is . . .
Beaverdam-20150809-03298.jpg

Tada!
Beaverdam-20150809-03302.jpg

I haven't been on it since the re-profile. Gotta love these early morning lines.
Beaverdam-20150809-03300.jpg

That woke me up! Since im kinda hungry I decided to get some food. Not a good decision lol.
Beaverdam-20150809-03304.jpg

Awwwwww. . .
Beaverdam-20150809-03306.jpg

Time to get my last ride.
Beaverdam-20150809-03307.jpg

R.I.P. Shockwave.
Beaverdam-20150809-03315.jpg

Moving right along, its time for some water park fun!
Beaverdam-20150809-03317.jpg

Hi Carowinds!
Beaverdam-20150809-03319.jpg

New this (last) year was an awesome slide tower . . . coming to a Cedar Fair park near you.
Beaverdam-20150809-03322.jpg

Its more intermediate and thrill slides oriented.
Beaverdam-20150809-03334.jpg

I LOVE drop floor slides. It's about the only way I will ride a speed slide.
Beaverdam-20150809-03328.jpg

Also a nice place to get some good views of Intimidator 305.
Beaverdam-20150809-03336.jpg

Lets check out the rest of the water park.
Beaverdam-20150809-03345.jpg

Beaverdam-20150809-03346.jpg

Beaverdam-20150809-03347.jpg

I was excited to find some dole whip!
Beaverdam-20150809-03348.jpg

Since I have a Plat pass, I figured I might as well check out DIno alive since I had time until the cirque show . . .
Beaverdam-20150809-03352.jpg

Always has been a nice little coaster.
Beaverdam-20150809-03358.jpg

Grit your teeth . . . oh wait
Beaverdam-20150809-03359.jpg

They are about to experience thu . . . nevermind.
Beaverdam-20150809-03361.jpg

I am gonna kinda miss thunder road.
Beaverdam-20150809-03376.jpg

ooooouuuhhhhh . . .
Beaverdam-20150809-03382.jpg

Ahhhhhhhhhh. . .
Beaverdam-20150809-03383.jpg

These are some of the best looking, to me, theme park shirts! Unfortunetly, none of the other parks had one like it.

Hey guys I'm back! And coming to you live from a very rare place that no one seems to visit . . . Sesame Place!
IMG_20160706_0957361.jpg

I drove by twice but I made it! I'm basically here for this . . .
IMG_20160706_1000184.jpg

I feel like a dirty credit whore.
IMG_20160706_1000349.jpg

Very small park . . .
IMG_20160706_1001061.jpg

Grover is out and proud of his coaster!
IMG_20160706_1002465.jpg

Looks like I got here just in time!
IMG_20160706_1004104.jpg

There it goes . . .
IMG_20160706_1004395.jpg

Let's see if it was worth the visit???
IMG_20160706_1006363.jpg

Alright coaster. Great for kids. Let's look around . . .
IMG_20160706_1012451.jpg

As you can see. Kinda empty. The park is a combo water park and kids rides park.

Moving right along . . .
IMG_20160706_1151430.jpg

Let's get on some real coasters! What's that I see?
IMG_20160706_1203008.jpg

And here I thought they hated each other . . .
IMG_20160706_1203341.jpg

Obligatory shot!
IMG_20160706_1203585.jpg

Let's go.
IMG_20160706_1210207.jpg

Typical theming.
IMG_20160706_1212368.jpg

The verdict??? Liked it a hell of a lot better than the Zac spins!
IMG_20160706_1216061.jpg

The time has finally come.
IMG_20160706_1307160.jpg

I've been here another time and it wasn't running but today is the day! Just look at it.
IMG_20160706_1309405.jpg

What are these doing here???
IMG_20160706_1311040.jpg

For my first ride, I went for the back!
IMG_20160706_1316422.jpg

Now I need to lose weight as I had a tight ride. It was really good! Went got a front seat ride and thought it was better but this hill . . .
IMG_20160706_1354582.jpg

Should be illegal! Great ride. Wish more were states side.
IMG_20160706_1400063.jpg

Skipped this . . .
IMG_20160706_1408324.jpg

For this. . .
IMG_20160706_1421222.jpg

Pretty much this was how the park was all day.
IMG_20160706_1422098.jpg

I'll get it next time.
IMG_20160706_1420545.jpg

Let's take the sky ride to the other side!

IMG_20160706_1425444.jpg

IMG_20160706_1425546.jpg

IMG_20160706_1428237.jpg

IMG_20160706_1427435.jpg

Who will finish first!?!?!
IMG_20160706_1431407.jpg

Let's check out skull mountain.
IMG_20160706_1433305.jpg

Skull mountain is so ghetto till you just love it lol.

Hi!
IMG_20160706_1453546.jpg

I wish I could trade intimidator at Carowinds for nitro . . .
IMG_20160706_1503210.jpg

I tried to resist buying food in the park but between the heat and hustling around, I had to.
IMG_20160706_1615486.jpg

Noodles were dry as hell and overall taste like it was sitting, but good flavor. Joker made up for it.
IMG_20160706_1654003.jpg

The longest train I've seen!
IMG_20160706_1700434.jpg

Dueling hero's! That that universal. . .
IMG_20160706_1743102.jpg

IMG_20160706_1824113.jpg

I actually liked green Lantern. Much better than my ride on mantis!
IMG_20160706_1826554.jpg

Oh well . . . Until next time.

OK, I wanna go on record and state that today happened to be the worst day I have ever had in coaster history! But it was still a great one. Let's get right to it.
IMG_20160707_1021377.jpg

Today I ventured to Six Flags New England.
IMG_20160707_1027379.jpg

It's been a goal of mines, ever since I saw the Riverside cyclone in coaster books when I was much younger, to come to this park and I finally achieved it. First order of business . . .
IMG_20160707_1033247.jpg

Due to the VR I have seen where the line could get awfully long. So I made it my business to make this a first ride of the day.
IMG_20160707_1036219.jpg

Got in the station in no time and passed up the chance for the VR. First ride, back seat. Those plates on the side of the restraint dug into me so hard that I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I could. So I came right back for a front seat ride. Well, I couldn't get that but 3rd row isn't bad. That was a far better ride than the back, to me,
IMG_20160707_1049459.jpg

Unfortunately do to the slow dispatch, it's hard to get trains on the track.
IMG_20160707_1127270.jpg

IMG_20160707_1128121.jpg

Looks like the mouse had issues.
IMG_20160707_1129037.jpg

Whoa, that's actually and evacuation!
IMG_20160707_1129192.jpg

The park is pretty nice looking.
IMG_20160707_1137548.jpg

Checked out dark night. Packs a punch for a small coaster.
IMG_20160707_1142119.jpg

On to hurricane harbor. Im a big water park person and I was pleasantly surprised here! First up, the pipeline!
IMG_20160707_1233535.jpg

I'm not sure who did these but it's sure different from all the ones I've been on. Overall fun slides!
IMG_20160707_1232292.jpg

Now for the attraction I've been waiting for?
IMG_20160707_1234255.jpg

I absolutely love water coasters! It's just something about being on a wild water slide that's combined with coaster elements. I hope and pray cedar fair considers these for their parks.
IMG_20160707_1236377.jpg

Did I mention I loved water parks!
IMG_20160707_1243199.jpg

Soak it all in!
IMG_20160707_1244181.jpg

IMG_20160707_1245051.jpg

IMG_20160707_1245465.jpg

SFoG???
IMG_20160707_1252158.jpg

Guess it's time . . .
IMG_20160707_1252370.jpg

Is this a sign?
IMG_20160707_1256100.jpg

Yeah, it was awful. Way worst than SFA's SLC. Looking in the distance, I'm having a severe case of deja vu.
IMG_20160707_1304499.jpg

But first. . .
IMG_20160707_1307499.jpg

This had, at the time I went, one of the longer lines of the day.
IMG_20160707_1319040.jpg

To me, the line was due to one train ops and not being allowed to touch the orange lap bars and unlocking of the cars one by one.
IMG_20160707_1319040.jpg

Back at SFoG again??!!
IMG_20160707_1334426.jpg

I thought I would have never seen one of these again, in person. And with a line like this . . .
IMG_20160707_1338073.jpg

I have to say, the new trains led to a kinda rough ride. Honestly, I was ready for it all to end after the first leg. I think o would have rather been on this . . .
IMG_20160707_1349599.jpg

Instead of this . . .
IMG_20160707_1352196.jpg

Now, for a nice change of pace , this great coaster!
IMG_20160707_1353085.jpg

This was a very fun coaster and I wonder why it didn't become the batman the ride of the chain!
IMG_20160707_1354390.jpg

Ahhhhh, there it is.
IMG_20160707_1409325.jpg

Finally, I saved the best for kinda last! And to top it off the line is only to the bottom of the stairs!

Wait . . .
IMG_20160707_1415341.jpg

Why the empty train? Noooooo ooooomg closed due to storms 5 miles away! Just what I get for waiting. Might as we'll move on to something else.

IMG_20160707_1433000.jpg

I did houdini at SFGadv yesterday and I have to say, this version seemed pretty incomplete, story wise.

My plans were to get to Lake compounce by 4 so I left without getting wicked cyclone but that was OK cause I had boulder dash to look forward to! Well, guess what? They were closed as well! Apparently, it stormed badly so they decided to close early even though when I got there it wasn't storming more.

No problem, let's head to quassy !
IMG_20160707_1736043.jpg

Omg not again!!!
IMG_20160707_1737244.jpg

Guess who else closed did to the rain!?!?! So yeah, I missed some very great credits. But tomorrow is a latter day.

That's the worst luck. I hate when that happens on trips. I was at Dorney when there was a power outage that delayed us over two hours getting to Knoebels. We would've just left but we still had Steel Force and Demon Drop left and decided it couldn't take thatttt long (but it did). I guess those kinds of things just happen!

I also just realized we were at KD the same day last year. Surprised I didn't see you and recognize you from your TRs.

Ok ok . . . talk about a delay! Moving right along to dorney! First stop, this life saver . . .
IMG_20160708_0948071.jpg

The perk of being a pass member here is the early water park entry.
IMG_20160708_0951414.jpg

The entrance to this park has always been nice and welcoming.
IMG_20160708_0952032.jpg

One of the older slides in the water park.
IMG_20160708_1004097.jpg

See, the water park seems to be the main draw to Dorney park. If you aren't there early, it will be a long day for you. The fluffy, fluffy bunny filled with medicine and goo room also doubles are support for talon.
IMG_20160708_1002116.jpg

I don't know if my "boy's were lose due to the warmness but these racing slides did a number to my jewels. I have been on several others but these were the first to literally burst my balls.
IMG_20160708_1025451.jpg

These slides look familiar?
IMG_20160708_1036449.jpg

Wild Water kingdom has an assortment of classic slides and new ones.
IMG_20160708_1050416.jpg

And good views of the main park. . .
IMG_20160708_1059199.jpg

The #MoneyShot
IMG_20160708_1100357.jpg

I'm a fan of theme park tank tops. Needless to say I had to add this one to my collection.
IMG_20160708_1125189.jpg

Ok lets ride some coasters!
IMG_20160708_1127560.jpg

I think talon is a pretty solid inverted coaster. It makes a great front gate statement and is strangely quiet. It's nice to see this ride still around seeing parks seem to be getting rid of them.
IMG_20160708_1156256.jpg

I was advised to head to this as the lines can build up.
IMG_20160708_1157210.jpg

After taking the train I headed to Hydra.
IMG_20160708_1210303.jpg

IMG_20160708_1218367.jpg

IMG_20160708_1220576.jpg

I dunno, I just wish it was "more". It is an ok ride, just wish more happen. Anyone else feel like that? After hearing the talk about the flume I figured I had to do it.
IMG_20160708_1219324.jpg

Surprisingly it was no wait . . .
IMG_20160708_1227371.jpg

It was decent. Didn't see what all the fuss was about but it was was fun none the least.

After sitting around and some other rides, checked out the newly refurbed wooden coaster!

I wonder how wild of a ride it could have been without the trim. oh well. I will be back with more pictures from Knoebels!

I swear i'm gonna catch up before the next trip . . .
Well I finally went to knoebels. After always reading about the park and hearing about it from friends I decided to finally experience Knoebels for myself. Did a half day at Dorney so I can take what I THOUGHT was a short ride to Knoebels lol. After google maps taking me on a dead end placed in a very scary spot, I finally made it. Of course I took advantage of the cheaper tickets!

Once I pulled up I was like oooookkkkk . . .
IMG_20160708_1634257.jpg

Then I was like, "where in the hell am I" lol.
IMG_20160708_1634030.jpg

Then alas!
IMG_20160708_1637465.jpg

Now i'm getting excited!

My first impression of the park, I felt as I have been time warped back to the 70's. All of the retro rides and atmosphere was really nice.

First order of business!

I liked it. It's not the stand out attraction in the park but a good coaster none the least.

After that ride, I had to seek out the reason I was here . . . perogies! I didn't know what the hell a perogie was until reading about them on here. All I know is that I had to have them and I had to get them from here.
IMG_20160708_1706149.jpg

Man oh man! They were simply delicious. i was tempted to drink the butter but I had to hold my composure lol.

My next mission the flyers . . .
IMG_20160708_1730377.jpg

Every one raves about these flyers. My first flyer experience were the flyers taken from Kings Islands and sent to Carowinds so I guess lucky for me I had some experience with real flyers.
IMG_20160708_1724550.jpg

HOWEVER, I couldn't seem to get my grove on these. I think it was me though. Moving on to my next mission . . .

The infamous flying turns! I have been watching this coaster and awaiting its completion for the last 20 years like the rest of you guys  :lmao: . The day was finally here to experience a one of a kind ride that has been long gone for some time.

My first and only ride was in the front (guess cause I was a fat boy) and it seemed more out of control compared to avalanche at Kings Dominion. I would have ridden again but the line, while short, can definitely take some time. Gotta love those classic rides.

It seems this park as a lot of my bucket list attractions. Like this one . . .
IMG_20160708_1809299.jpg

I remember seeing the story on one of those travel channel coaster specials while I was in high school and I really thought nothing of the coaster. As I got older and saw more and more of it, I realized what a gem this coaster was. After waiting a very short time I was on and ready to ride. Man, looks are intimidating! That coaster was flying and never seem to let up. For my first ride, I sat in the "sweet" seat and I was very impressed. I got off and got right back on!
IMG_20160708_1828238.jpg

I decided to check out the two dark rides the park had to offer.

They were both long and had some nice sets, especially the haunted house. Now back to these classic rides . . .

As was walking by I noticed the bumper cars, then I noticed them! At first I was like, "is this legal??" lol.
IMG_20160708_1952585.jpg

What a way to relieve some stress lol. Man, why can't most parks have nice things like this. Oops, almost forgot about twister!
IMG_20160708_2019597.jpg

Honestly, I never really knew much about Twister but I was soon gonna find out.

That was one wild ride. I mean I was being thrown all over the train! It seems as if I were the novice as everyone was ok with throwing their hands up as I held on for deal life. Once getting off and looking at the on-ride photo, There was no way I could not get it lol.

After a ride on the drop tower, it was time to go. What I thought was gonna be just a couple hours ended up being an entire evening. Between the food, the rides and atmosphere I must say this now one of my top 5 parks to visit!
