Quite a bit of complaining considering you went on one of the busiest days of the year. I would expect it to be crowded.

I also think that Green Lantern is more fun than GASM was. Scream Machine was just too rough for me.

^GASM was the 1st ride I ever rode at that park so it I will always have a special place on my coaster count.

It was almost my first, but I skipped it and went to Rolling Thunder (I think). Rolling Thunder can go too :p. I'd love to see some dueling GCI woodies there, or even dueling Gravity Group coasters with Timberliners :lover: . It would boost attendance and still be a family coaster. A man can dream, can't he?

Haha, that is quite ambitious. Awesome, we can just call it woodie world! And yes, that is what she said.

It was way more crowded than I was expecting. NYC school district and Jackson school district were both in session that day so I figured that would help with the crowds. The real problem seemed to be the rides either closed or that kept breaking down, and rides not running at full capacity. Until around 12:30, lines weren't bad, I was able to ride Nitro twice with a 2 train wait each time earlier in the day. I'm going to try again later this week and hope for lower crowds.

The last thing that park needs is more crowds!

@Yoshifan that was my theory as well. I figured since school was still in session for a day it wouldn't be too crowded but we were both wrong unfortunately.

GASM was a special coaster to me too. I knew it's days were numbered though, so I wasn't very surprised when it was demolished. I knew that that was thee only place where they would decide to put a new coaster. Any SFMM fanboys out there, get ready, Viper's time may be up soon!

Viper actually runs pretty well for an old Arrow. But GASM ran more like a device of the Spanish Inquisitiion ( at least to me). I was not sad to see GASM go, but every ride has its fans.
