^Maybe you pass out while watching a documentary about ancient Egypt in your hotel room, have a nightmare, walk in your sleep, then step into an elevator shaft?

Or maybe they just took a random 3D flick and put it on a drop ride? (I love the random dinosaur.)

I'm sure the plot line is explained during the beginning of the movie. I'm betting the hotel owner stole an artifact from an Egyptian tomb that now haunts the hotel just like the storyline was storyline from DisneySEA. However, I'd love to hear a translation to understand the raptor (Maybe ChrisCon wrote the script).

Otherwise, the whole ride is misplaced and should have gone to Canobie Lake next to Mine of Lost Souls.
As usual, my analysis is free of charge!

I have had the privilege to ride this contraption several times in different Spanish fairs. And it's defintely a TOT knock-off. It's so bad that even having two elevator shafts they can only run ONE at the time because otherwise they would have a blackout.

The experience is as follows:
- the carnie gives you a pair of dirty and cheap-looking 3D glasses
- you board the lift (mind you; no seatbelts or anything, just a single lapbar that barely touches you)
- you go up to the first floor where you watch a 4D film (yeah, a weird film featuring dinosaurs in pyramids. Everything makes SO much sense :lmao: ). Of course, airblasts and water sprays are mandatory to round the experience.
- you continue going up until the basement where you can see a good overview of whatever you have in front of you
- with no warning, you freefall about 21 meters (69 feet) and, before the elevator reaches the base, the lapbar pops open and you're off.

If I remembery correctly, there's an on-ride photo for those who DARE ride that =) Near-death experience :D

Carnival ride theming rarely makes sense, but REALLY? We go from a haunted hotel to ancient Egypt that's home to a raptor, and back to Tower of Terror storyboard cutouts...

That was amazing. And looks like more fun than DCA's tower.

Fantastic! I'm so glad we now have a video and a glowing review from someone who's braved this deathtrap. This is definitely going on my rides bucket list.

People are actually paid to design this stuff. All it does is confirm that TPR absolutely NEEDS to create their own ride one day.

Why do I still have a donkey title???
