That coaster looks adorable. I assume you rode it as a child?
Its the west coast syndrome. I've ridden a fair 150 coasters total, but only 8 wooden due to the lack of them on the West.
They ran Blue backwards from August 8 to September 17. It stays forward for Fright Fest, the last time it ran backwards all season was 04 or 05 I believe.

Not sure about red or backwards, but American Eagle Blue forwards is decidedly one of my least favorite wooden coasters. By the way, I'm a bit confused regarding last season: is one side running backwards permanently now, or did they just make the Halloween switch earlier than usual?
