Has there ever been an instance where adding sexy new trains to SLCs has drastically improved the ride experience? I've heard Great Nor'Easter and T3 still suck, and other ones like Lethal Weapon are just mediocre.

Seriously, it seems like new trains on Boomerangs have been more successful than new trains on SLCs. A+ for effort, I guess.

Unlike with boomerangs the issue with old SLC's is rather just the bad trackwork by what I've understood

While that is an almost correct translation, the proverb we use would be 'even if you give a monkey a golden ring, it still is and remains an ugly thing'.

Despite being 0% Dutch, I'm totally using that expression at the next available chance to do so. 10/10, love it.

At least they are trying, haven't had a tolerable Kumbak train experience but the Vekoma trains seemed to help other than on Nor'Easter based on the reviews. Since El Condor is a first gen SLC, maybe some re-tracking is also needed just like on Nor'Easter.

I didn't mind T3 with the new trains last year but the track itself was far from smooth. I was able to enjoy it since the new trains did at least protect my head.

Would be cool if they instead added lapbar only trains like on Jr. Suspended coasters like Jimmy Neutron in Germany or Freedom Flyer in Orlando
