Even though the entire list is in my signature, I might as well post it here too.

1 - Viper SFGAm
2 - Blue Streak Cedar Point
3 - Screamin' Eagle SFStL
4 - American Eagle SFGAm
5 - Mean Streak Cedar Point
6 - Gwazi (Tiger) Busch Gardens Tampa (couldn't bring myself to ride Lion after this piece of crap. To all who think Mean Streak is bad, get down to Florida and ride this)

Should probably mention that there are 8 steel coasters ahead of these.
Wood-7 Steel-57 Liquid-2 Total-66 (CoasterFanatics banner stopped working for some reason)
Top 5 Steel: 1. Millennium Force - 2. Maverick - 3. California Screamin - 4. Raging Bull - 5. Space Mountain: De la Terre a la Lune
Top 5 Wood: 1. Viper - 2. Blue Streak - 3. Screamin Eagle - 4. American Eagle - 5. Mean Streak (With the only other one Ive ridden being Gwazi. I seriously need to ride more wooden coasters)

Just Kidding!

I'm in the process of voting and I have a really dumb question to ask about the ride sensations ranking.

Do they mean "in general" or just applying to the "wooden coasters" that these are my preferred ride sensations?

Because usually when you ride a wooden coaster you might expect different priority of ride sensations then you would a steel coaster. So i'm thinking they were aiming that to the specific type given in the poll, but I was wanted to make sure. Anyone know?

^ I think they mean more in general, but probably a bit skewed to woodies since that's the poll. But if you look at some of the questions, like if you prefer inversions, obviously it can't be just woodies.

Voted. I still don't understand the general distaste for Voyage and lovefest for Raven by many on this website. :?r

Okay that makes sense, thanks Robb.
I think I will just apply those six sensations to "woodies" since thats subjective to the poll. I'm sure the steel coaster poll will ask you to rank those again.

I think many people confuse the fact that "I don't rank Voyage as #1" as "distaste." I (and a few others here) just don't simply like it as much as others do.

It's not like we are ranking it in our worst woodies ever, I just personally think it's not as amazing as others make it out to be. I have it ranked as #30 out of 163 woodies. That's still pretty darn high up my list! I far prefer some of Gravity Group's other work, like Ravine Flyer II, Hades, and Fireball.

It's just simply not my type of ride, but Raven is.

I can't really explain it, it's just my opinion.
