Its a shame to see a park rot like that. If I'm ever in France I'll make a quick stop to ride Monster, but that's about it.

Lots of rumors in France that the park is bankrupt.

As a result, the park is virtually empty these days.
There's now a message on the Walygator website reassuring visitors that the park is open and will remain open until the end of the season.

A quick update: the park has been placed in administration.

December 5, the current owners will have to outline the park's financial situation.
January 23, the court will decide the park's future.

^Thanks for the update, please let us know any further developments for the park. Hopefully they can find a buyer who can run the park right, it certainly has a lot of potential.

I actually thought the park was a lot better this year than my last visit in 2008. Hopefully someone will come along that can take over the operations.

Yeah, I mean, Monster wasn't braked at all, ran awesome, and Anaconda didn't totally beat the crap out of you like it used to!

the parc has been sold and it should open june 1st under new management.
