Yeah. That looks about right, except I think the release said it would be ORANGE track. Could be wrong though. Oh well, I'm really pumped for FireHawk, even if it ISNT the "good" flyer. I have always wanted to ride X-Flight, and now it's moved to my homepark with a kick a$$ name.

Stealth is actually slightly shorter. On Stealth, the track makes one last right turn before the final brake run. On X-Flight/FireHawk, there is a helix there. The helix is my favorite part of the ride. It gives you the "flying like a superhero" feeling.

I think they were reffering to the color scheme, not the actual layout...

Sleep well: X-Flight, even with the totally TUBULAR new name (Rad, Dude!), will never come close to the ride that Tatsu is.

"The addition of Firehawk reflects our commitment to combining one-of-a-kind thrills with fantastic family entertainment,"

These people apparently don't get out much. A flying coaster is hardly "one-of-a-kind". 5 hours in the car gets you to Great America, where they've had a flyer since 2003. I guess it's this same ignorance that makes people think that the Beast is still a top ride.

Did my donkey title just change???

God, I miss shooters. I liked Phalanx back in the day. Thank god I have a copy of Ikegara for Dreamcast.

I guess one thing is true, this won't be a ride where millions of ACE members are flocking to ride it :Pr .

2 great pieces of news since this is finalized.

1. It won't be at MIA which means I won't have to see it every year.

2. It won't be open when I got get my CF pass so I won't feel the need to ride it for the next few years.

BTW why would anyone even think it is trying to match Tatsu?

Mabye, because there are only two trains, they could be adding a row or two of seats to each train?

Any word on this

^It's Kings Island! Since when do they care about capacity on their rides!?!? There won't be any modifications. Hopefully they'll get all the seats working!

I think this was a lame press release. IJST had videos and such, that was cool. Firehawk logo does look cheap...heh....good thing I like the ride!

And yea, PKI doesnt really care about the capacity much if they are will ing to stop FoF's train to 2 mph on the mid brake run, causing like....extra 30 seconds?! Haha. Intamin/B&M gods plz save us.

True, it may not be a "one-of-a-kind" for us enthusiasts, but to the general public, this is a brand new type of coaster experience for the majority of them.

Plus, how many people of the gen. public even know SFGA or GL exists?? We'll have to wait and see how successful all this is to determine if this is ignorance, better use for a ride, or just good marketing.
