Wow, those are very friendly prices! I was expecting $10 minimum for cocktails. I guess living in Vegas for four years does that to you.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. . but I'm confused on some of the Merchandise being offered along with Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party.

in particular this:

Image

so the "tiered box set" with Jafar Completer pin, is $109.

that's really not unreasonable, as it gets you the 4 standard pins (that sell for $16 each, + the Jafar exclusive. . .so basically you're paying ~$40 for the Jafar pin).

where I get confused is by the also offered:

"Frame Set" with Chernobog completer pin.

that one has the 4 standard, + the Jafar, + the additional Chernobog?
for $270.

so that confuses me. . . this set still contains the Jafar pin, but you're paying ~$170 more for one pin?

surely that can't be the only difference?

what am I missing between the "tiered box set" and the "Frame Set" ? is the only difference that 1 pin?

^ Since it's called a "Frame Set" I would expect there to be a frame and a transparent cover of some type also included, similar to a framed photo.

Prices for framed things can run into the hundreds. Looks like they're offering a nicer way to display the set, plus an extra pin to sweeten the deal. Personally I wouldn't pay that much, but I'm sure there's quite a few pin enthusiasts who would. Then there's the profiteers who'd buy it and then immediately try to flip it for a 50% markup or more.

^ I guess that explains the rounded corners. .it's in a frame, it' just hard to see the design in the advertisement.

now that you said that, and I'm looking closely at it. . . it does appear to have a slightly different format, with "peek a boo" windows with text (that I guess name the character).

as much as I'd love a Chernabog pin, I just can't see paying that much more just for the framed set.

so if I manage to get any of em, I'd likely go for the 5 pin set and then just go to Michael's and get a windowbox to display on my own (similar to how I did the Haunted Mansion "villian" pins from last year.

thanks!

I finally officially booked our stay and flights at Disney we are now going jan 28th - feb 1 with Monday Tuesday and Wednesday being park days. Most likely it will look like this

Monday - Animal Kingdom
Tuesday- Magic Kingdom
Wednesday - Hollywood Studios

We are staying at Art Of Animation. I can't wait to take my kids back again this will be the last year we can do this in the middle of winter as my son starts school next year.

I see I can book dining now if i want. Do you guys have any suggestions? I think we may do one or two of the table service restaurants.

^What kind of food/experiences do you guys like? There are seriously like 100+ choices, and some of them are AMAZING, all of them are fine.
