Also it hugs closer to SkyFlyer more. Maybe the plans are out of date a bit and the ride will be different to accommodate prudential with some of their complaints...

The plans were supposedly "revised" and the coaster is going to be taller than it originally was going to be. So its hard to say really what the coaster is going to look like in the final product. Im just thankful we are getting a new coaster!

Looking much closely at the blueprint versus the actual construction, the turnaround appears to be hugging the Xtreme SkyFlyer's twin spikes as Double0Kevin mentioned rather than being parallel to it and looks reversed from the original plans as you all mentioned, and is farther away from the edge of the park closest to the Prudential owned buildings. Can't wait to see what the final product will look like, Aug 29th is getting closer!

I'm cool with that. GCI's rides seem to constantly get better and better so a revision seems like it could only make the ride better. I'm seriously looking forward to this thing. CA needs more quality woodies.

It's funny seeing a new coaster, and a wood one at that, actually being built in this park. It's such a foreign thing but so cool at the same time.

When seeing that first image my friend sent me Tuesday, I had to stare at it for a good few minutes as it seemed very surreal...was a lot for my brain to process as this park has not seen a large-scale attraction come by in 12 years. This will be a huge help for the park, as much as it still has some more TLC ahead of itself. And this is going to be 1 long month as we patiently wait for that magic moment, the announcement.

Some funny things from Facebook:

Ugh the park already has one wooden coaster, why is there gona be another?? Verrrrry disappointed... Plus invertigo is gone.. need to bring back stealth...

What's wrong with another woodie? Especially with one that that will deliver thrills?
Its a new Woodie like da grizzly

It will be nothing like Grizzly.

The world DOES NOT need more frigid wooden coasters. we need THRILL rides like at Six Flags Magic Mountain. great america is loosing my love. same freggin rides and hella water park and kiddy stuff. Thrill us!

Frigid wood coasters...Mr Freeze woody anyone?

Don't knock it till you ride it, GCI rides are great!

Someone knows what they're saying...though doesn't count since it's a TPR member :)

Does anybody know an estimate of how tall it is going to be? Also is there any inversions since it has been revised and it is possible since Silver Dollar City woodie is also going to have a inversion.

^ It will not have an inversion, guaranteed. I'm sure the height will be between 100-115ft. That's about GCI's sweet spot.

On the permit page we all know by now, it's jumped around from 100 feet to 113, and now currently 111 feet. So yea, somewhere in there. I'm sure the 'revisions' are primarily due to the kind neighbors next door as the current plans were to have noise directed away from them. We'll see how it all comes along.

An interesting thing I noticed on this image:
Image
Looks like we'll see a mix of slabs and footers as there's some footers lined up between the 2 slabs.
